Jayson Tatum drops season-high 35 points in Boston’s win over New York

The game between the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks on this past Monday night at TD Garden was highly anticipated as the two ball clubs replayed their season opener against one another in a different venue than the Madison Square Garden home game that was the first iteration of the matchup this season.

However, it was Celtics All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum who stole the show with his exceptional play, putting up a season high of 35 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and a steal on 13-of-23 shooting overall and 5-of-12 from beyond the arc in 39 minutes of playing time in Boston’s 114-98 win.

Whether it was driving to the basket or shooting from beyond the arc, Tatum seemed unstoppable.

Take a look at the clip embedded above from the NBA’s official YouTube channel to see the best of his play from that tilt.
