Jannik Sinner vs Daniil Medvedev: Start time today and how to watch Australian Open men's final

Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev go head to head in the Australian Open men's singles final today.

Italian star Sinner ended Novak Djokovic's 33-game winning run in Melbourne with an impeccable victory in the semi-finals to set up a showdown with twice runner-up Medvedev.

Djokovic's wait for a record-extending 11th Australian Open crowning will have to wait after this year becomes only the second time since 2005 when the champion will not be either the Serbian, Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal.

While Sinner memorably thrashed the world No1 to reach the showpiece, he came through a total of four seeded opponents in a tough draw including a quarter-final win over fifth seed Andrey Rublev.

Medvedev came from two sets down to defeat Alexander Zverev in his semi, after the German had usefully taken out Carlos Alcaraz earlier in the tournament.
