James Graham III enters transfer portal after one year with Missouri State basketball
Roster movement with Missouri State men's basketball isn't done quite yet.
James Graham III announced on Twitter on Monday afternoon that he will enter the transfer portal after one year with the men's basketball team.
Graham spent one year with the Bears after transferring from Maryland. He made five starts and 18 appearances at MSU while averaging 19.8 minutes per game, 4.2 points and 1.9 rebounds.
Graham is the third Bear to enter the transfer portal this offseason, following Dawson Carper and Jonathan Mogbo. Carper recently removed his name from the portal and will stay at MSU while Mogbo signed with San Francisco last week.

Graham's lone season with the Bears saw him in and out of the rotation due to different injuries. At 6-foot-7, he showed potential as someone who was once considered the No. 52 recruit in the nation. The Milwaukee native could be on his way to trying to reach his full potential somewhere else.
His departure gives the Bears one open scholarship for the 2023-24 season following the signings of Xavier transfer forward Cesare Edwards and Saint Louis transfer guard Nick Kramer. The Bears landed a commitment from Overtime Elite forward Tyler Bey hours after Graham's announcement.
