Jaguars to return to Wembley, will be one of three teams that'll host 2024 London Games

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be part of the NFL's International Games again in 2024, announced by the NFL Thursday morning as one of four teams set to play in Europe. Jacksonville will return to Wembley Stadium, where they have played nine times since 2013. A decade of play.

The Jaguars will play eight games at home next year, including seven games at EverBank Stadium and one game at Wembley. They will play nine games on the road.

The Jaguars have played 11 games in the U.K., including two at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Last year, Jacksonville played two games overseas in the U.K., including a home game at Wembley against the Atlanta Falcons and an away game against the Buffalo Bills at Tottenham in back-to-back weeks (Weeks 4 and 5). They won both matchups.

Jacksonville owns a 6-5 record all-time internationally.

In addition to the Jaguars, the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers are set to compete in Europe. The Bears and Vikings will play at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the Panthers will play in Munich, Germany.

“We certainly owe a debt of thanks to the thousands of fans in the U.K., Ireland and throughout Europe who have made the Jaguars their NFL team since our first London home game in 2013," said Shad Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars via a statement released by the NFL.

“We've now played 11 games in London, have forged deep relationships with fans and businesses, have introduced American football to young people that participate in our community programs throughout the U.K., and we've raised funds and supported causes that touch many lives.

"In all, we've established a strong Jaguars tradition in London that our fans and followers celebrate every day of the year. That tradition continues next season when the Jaguars return to London, and we can't wait to see everyone once again in Wembley Stadium, our home away from home."

It is unclear whether or not the Jaguars will play two games in the U.K. again in 2024, however, the Bears are one of the teams Jacksonville is slated to play on the road next year, and they're one of the teams slated to play at Tottenham.

Still, until the NFL and the Jaguars agree to it, that aspect of the team's international play is speculation.
