Jacob Warren recaps Vols’ win against Texas A&M
Redshirt senior tight end Jacob Warren scored on a seven-yard touchdown reception versus Texas A&M in Week 7.
The Vols defeated Texas A&M, 20-13, at Neyland Stadium.
Warren met with media on Monday and discussed what it was like winning a close game against the Aggies.
“That was going to be the first thing I mentioned, which was the defense and how you never really feel like you are out of it or you don’t have a chance,” Warren said. “I think it is really cool when you have that trust in the other side of the ball to go out there and just continue to stop them, continue to give us opportunities to figure it out and put the ball in the end zone or put the ball in the uprights or whatever it was.
“I think all three phases worked really well together the other day. We came out with a win. I think that is all you can really ask for. You take an ugly win over a really pretty loss any day, so I think we were just happy to win the game and come out with that win.”
