IU Kokomo men beat IU Northwest
Dec. 29—The IU Kokomo men's basketball team beat IU Northwestern 74-59 Thursday night at home to sweep a home-and-away set against the RedHawks. IUK previously won on the road at IUNW on Dec. 20.
Dell DeMyers led the Cougars with 22 points, Noah Harris scored 14, Jackson Hunter 11, Evan Kretz nine and Max Newman eight. Newman grabbed 13 rebounds and snagged four steals. Kretz had three steals.
Next up for IUK (11-2) is a home game against Rio Grande on Wednesday to start the remainder of the River States Conference schedule.
