Irish Hills Chamber: Teams can still register for May 17 chamber of commerce golf outing
The Irish Hills Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual golf outing beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 17, at Hills’ Heart of the Lakes Golf Course. We still have spots for teams. Callaghan’s Coffee Café is holding bingo from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 17. A $5 purchase gets you two cards and a $10 purchase gets you four cards with a 4-card max. This is an 18 or older event.
Onsted American Legion Post 550 is holding a fish fry and band night from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, which is open to the public. The fish fry dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. with the band Jaded Soul taking the stage from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. There is no cover charge.
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church hosts a diaper closet the third Saturday of each month. The next one is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18. There is no residency requirement or income verification, just a need. For those who are new, all organizers need is your name, city, children’s ages and how you heard about the closet.
McCourtie Park is holding “Music in the Park” from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 25, featuring the Storm Bandits. For more information, visit McCourtie Park’s Facebook page.

Join the Irish Hills Chamber of Commerce for two ribbon cuttings on May 25. We will help kick off Lakeside Café’s one-year anniversary celebration at 10 a.m. Stop in any time between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for their celebration. They are in Manitou Beach Village on Devils Lake. We also will be at Frey and Sons Flooring at noon on May 25 to kick off their grand opening celebration that takes place from noon to 3 p.m. featuring food, raffles, flooring discounts and more. They are at 9039 S. Meridian Road, Clarklake.
