Injury Report: Warriors’ Andrew Wiggins starting Game 6 vs. Lakers

Following Game 5 on Wednesday, Andrew Wiggins appeared on the injury report for the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.

Prior to the Warriors’ win-or-go-home Game 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday in Hollywood, Wiggins was listed as questionable for Game 6 with a left costal cartilage fracture.

After going through the early morning shootaround and his pregame routine before tipoff, Wiggins will enter the starting lineup for Game 6 despite suffering a rib injury in Game 5.

Steve Kerr and the Warriors will stick with the same starting lineup that helped the Warriors win Game 5 with Gary Payton II alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Wiggins.

In Game 5, Wiggins tallied 25 points on 10-of-18 shooting with seven rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes.

The Lakers and Warriors are set to tip off Game 6 at 7 p.m. PT on Friday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
