Injury Report: Nets’ James Harden (right hand) ruled out vs. Warriors on Saturday

While the Golden State Warriors will be without Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Nemanja Bjelica, the Brooklyn Nets will be without a pair of former Most Valuable Players for Saturday’s primetime tilt in the Bay Area.

With Kevin Durant already slated to miss Saturday’s contest due to a left knee MCL sprain, James Harden was the latest member of the Nets added to the injury report.

Prior to Saturday’s tip, Harden was ruled out against the Warriors due to a right-hand strain.

During the 2021-22 season, Harden is averaging 23 points on 42% shooting from the floor with 10.1 assists and 8.1 rebounds in 37 minutes per game.

With both Durant and Harden out, the Nets will need to lean on Kyrie Irving against Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and the Warriors.

Irving has been active in seven games for the Nets this season, averaging 23.4 points on 50.4% shooting from the floor with 5.1 assists and 4.9 rebounds.

The Warriors and Nets are slated to tip-off at 5:30 p.m. PT on Saturday at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
