North fell behind 38-7 by halftime despite having started the game with six wins in their previous nine games.

Ava Grant led three Trojans in double figures as No. 2 Center Grove (25-1) rolled to a 32-17 halftime lead and CG repeated a sectional champions with a strong win over the host Pioneers (20-5). The win was the Trojans’ 18th straight and gave the visitors a repeat championship-game over Mooresville.

Addison Davis, Emma Ancelet and Maddy Wethington provided double-figure scoring as the Warriors (22-3) snapped three years of coming up short of a sectional championship with a lopsided win over their Sagamore Conference rival Tigers (11-15). Danville jumped in front 12-1 after a quarter and the outcome was never in doubt after the lead reached 32-5 at the half.
