Icemen skid again, swept on home ice by Orlando Solar Bears

Turning point: Orlando's Maxim Cajkovic scored the go-ahead goal at 6:39 of the second period and the Solar Bears came from behind to beat the Jacksonville Icemen 3-2 on Wednesday night at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Three stars: 1. Luke Lynch, Jacksonville (one goal). 2. Brad Barone, Orlando (33 saves). 3. Cajkovic, Orlando (one goal).

Penalty box: Leading Orlando goal scorer Tyler Bird received a slashing major and a game misconduct in an incident at the end of the first period, while Jacksonville defenseman Austin McEneny was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the bench in the aftermath.

Around the rink: The Icemen (30-18-2-2) lost their fifth consecutive game, including a three-game sweep on home ice at the hands of the Solar Bears (29-22-4-0). ... Fourth-place Orlando climbed to within two points of the Icemen in the division race. ...
