Hurricanes to host spring game at Cobb Stadium on April 13, Pro Day on Monday

ESPN announced two key dates for the Hurricanes this spring.

Miami will host its Pro Day on Monday and its spring game on April 13, according to an ESPN press release.

UM’s Pro Day will be broadcast at 2 p.m. on ACC Network Extra. The Hurricanes’ spring game will be at 4 p.m. on ESPN+ and ACC Network Extra.

The Hurricanes, who played their last two spring games at Fort Lauderdale’s Chase Stadium, will play this year’s spring game at Cobb Stadium, UM’s soccer stadium, according to a team spokesperson. Cobb Stadium seats only 500 people, but additional seats will be added, according to a report from the Miami Herald.

Miami is one week into its spring football slate, which runs through the April 13 spring game. Teams are allowed to have 15 practice sessions in the spring, allowing contact in 12 of those practices. The Hurricanes are off for spring break this week and will resume spring practices next week.

The Hurricanes have 12 players slated to take part in next week’s Pro Day: wide receiver Tyler Harrell, offensive linemen Javion Cohen and Matt Lee, linebackers K.J. Cloyd, Keontra Smith and Ryan Ragone, defensive linemen Branson Deen and Leonard Taylor III, and defensive backs Te’Cory Couch, Jaden Davis, Kam Kinchens and James Williams.

Two of those players are among the top prospects at their positions. ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. ranks Lee as the No. 6 center in the draft class and Kinchens as the No. 8 safety.
