HS Roundup: Tri-Valley sweeps MVL tri-meet

DRESDEN — Host Tri-Valley swept a Muskingum Valley League tri-meet with Morgan and Coshocton on Tuesday.

The boys scored 116 points to the Redskins' 37 and the Raiders' 30, while the girls had 92 to Morgan's 51 and Coshocton's 33.

Winners for the Tri-Valley boys were Jayden Wallace and Kamyn Karns in the 100 (11.8), Zane Devoll in the 400 (1:07.6), Dalton Crozier in the 1,600 (4:55) and 3,200 (10:31), Karns in the 110 hurdles (16.4), the 4x200 of Chase Cameron, Devoll, Tanner Newton and Caden France (1:43.2), the 4x100 Ironman of Eli McDaniel, Nathan Welsh, Micah Shupert and Chris Gargasz (56.4), the 4x400 of Devoll, Caleb Apple, Casen Wilson and Cameron (4:09.0), the 4x800 of Apple, Arpen Parekh, William Dearing and Crozier (10:05), Nicholas Flarey in the pole vault (9-0), Cameron in the long jump (17-6), and Gargasz in the shot (45-0 1/2) and discus (134-9).

Kate Martin in the 200 (28.6), Taylor Crozier in the 1,600 (5:46), Braylie Burkey in the 3,200 (14:43), the 4x100 (56.4) and 4x200 (1:58.0) of Kiara Reynolds, Lizzie Mjolhus, Lauren Renaud and Martin, Gwendolyn Lacy in the long jump (13-5), and Mackenzie Harvey in the shot (30-5 3/4) and discus (94-3) were winners for the Tri-Valley girls.

Daicy Hodge in the 400 (1:05.8), Odessa Smith in the 100 hurdles (15.8) and 300 hurdles (48.5), the 4x400 of Hodge, Smith, Aleah Bogue and Shannon Cooper (4:58), Maddi Short in the high jump (4-8), and Abigail Heigley in the pole vault (8-0) were winners for the Morgan girls, and Hayden Bankes was first in the 300 hurdles (47.3) for the boys.

Brynn Stillion won the 100 (13.5), Sophia Skelton was first in the 800 (2:56.1), and the 4x800 of Zaelyn Carroll, Mia Lauvray, Aerianna Braxton and Skelton was first (11:30) to lead the Coshocton girls.

Harper Jay was first in the 200 (24.2), Aiden Braxton won the 800 (2:14.5) and high jump (5-8), and the 4x100 of Antwone Johns, Jay, Cadin Whiteus and Israel Rice posted a winning time of 47.4 for the Coshocton boys.
