Plymouth North baseball extends winning streak to 12: South Shore H.S. top performers

The high school spring sports season is coming to a close.

But there's plenty of unfinished business to attend to in the final weeks of the regular season. League titles are on the line. Playoff spots and seedings are being battled for. Career milestones are within reach.

So there's plenty going on before the postseason kicks off. Baseball, softball and lacrosse brackets will be announced on May 29. Rugby and tennis pairings will be announced on May 28.

Saturday, May 18

SOFTBALL

Maddie Butler scored 3 runs in Carver's 9-5 loss to Middleboro. Sarah Langtry had an RBI double and Lyla Moore had a 2-RBI double.

Ava Selter (home run, 3 RBIs, 2 runs) and Olivia Roy (2-RBI double, run) starred in Bridgewater-Raynham's 15-6 win over Bishop Feehan.

BASEBALL

Plymouth North took a pair of wins over Hingham. Matt Nardone had a walk-off double as the Blue Eagles won a weather-suspended game to start the day, 3-2. D.C. Brown and Cody Quinn combined for a no-hitter, striking out 13 with 2 walks. Sean Hallissey pitched well in relief (2 innings, 5 strikeouts) to earn the 2-1 victory in the second game.

North Quincy defeated Quincy, 9-2, as Charlie Ambroult had 4 hits (including a double), 4 RBIs, 2 runs and 2 stolen bases.

Abington took a double-header from Mashpee. In the opener, a 4-0 Green Wave win, Ryan Solimini pitched a shutout while allowing 7 hits and 2 walks. Henry Rogers pitched a complete game to take Game 2, 5-4.

Ryan Kelly struck out 12 over 6 innings on 1 earned run as Milton defeated Needham, 3-1. James Burnes earned the save with a pair of strikeouts in the seventh ining. Scott Longo went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles. The win clinched a state-tournament spot for the Wildcats.

BOYS LACROSSE

Todd Egan had 8 points (6 goals, 2 assists) in South Shore Tech's 15-4 win over Southeastern. Eamon Haley, Ben Tondorf, Tyler Kline and Jaxon Hoey each had 2 goals apiece Tanner Graden stopped 12 shots.

Charlie Hartwell had 3 goals and an assist in Scituate's 12-5 win over Cohasset.

Friday, May 17

SOFTBALL

Rockland's Madelyn Rooney posted her first varsity win in a 13-6 victory over South Shore Tech. Rooney, Chelsea Amaral and Brianna Hewitt each had 2 RBIs. SST's Kaylee Gamache had an over-the-fence grand slam, and Maya Crawford scored twice for the Vikings.

Hingham's Bilyana Wilkin threw a 1-hitter with 7 strikeouts and was 2-for-4 with a run scored in a 13-1 win over Whitman-Hanson that ended after 6 innings. Jess Mulrey (2-for-2, 2 runs, 2 RBIs), Abby Mercer (3-for-4, 3 runs, RBI) and Sienna Powers (3-for-4, 2 runs, 4 RBIs) also starred for the Harborwomen (10-6).

Abington's Elsie Testa threw a 2-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts in a 3-0 win over Stoughton. Kasie Bailey (3-for-4), Maddie McDonald (1-for-4, RBI) and Riley Agnew (1-for-3, run) were hitting stars for the Green Wave (17-1).

Canton's Reilly MacEachern earned the win, striking out 9, in a 12-8 victory over North Attleboro. Jess Wright, Chloe Guerschuny, Sam Grady, Fiona Trendell and Anna Lehan each had 3 hits for the Bulldogs.

Archbishop Williams' Ciara McMenamin earned the win in the circle and was 2-for-5 with a home run, 2 RBIs and 2 runs in a 9-8 victory over Bishop Feehan. Alyssa Burke, Monica Kelley and Audrey Kelley each had 2 hits for Archies (13-4).

Pembroke defeated Scituate, 9-1.

Plymouth North defeated Duxbury, 6-2.

Braintree's Catherine McPhee went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBIs in a 10-0 win over Wellesley that was halted after 5 innings. Lexi Donahue threw 5 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits with a strikeout for the Wamps (9-8).

BASEBALL

Plymouth North's D.C. Brown allowed 5 hits over 6 innings with 7 strikeouts in an 8-1 win over Duxbury. Cody Quinn was 3-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBIs, and Matt Nardone was 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs for the Blue Eagles (13-2), who have won 12 straight.

West Bridgewater's Jag Garces threw a complete-game shutout with 8 strikeout, and Ryan Nunes was 3-for-3 with an RBI in a 4-0 win over Bourne.

Whitman-Hanson's David McNaught had a pair of hits and an RBI in a 4-2 loss to Hingham. Preston George also drove in a run for the Panthers (12-6), and Evan Yakavonis went the distance on the mound, striking out 6.

Abington swept a doubleheader from Mashpee. In Game 1, Ryan Solimini threw a 7-hit shutout in a 4-0 win. In Game 2, Henry Rogers earned a complete-game victory, allowing 9 hits and 3 earned runs in a 5-4 win.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Cardinal Spellman's Elle Murphy (8 goals) and Erin O'Donnell (3 goals, 2 assists) starred in a 13-4 win over Fontbonne Academy on Senior Night.

Weymouth's Megan Doyle had 10 points and 16 draw controls in a 16-7 win over Foxboro. Kendall Rogers (6 points) and Mira Flaherty (4 points) also starred for the Wildcats (13-5).

Rockland handed South Shore Tech its first loss of the season, 6-5 in overtime. SST's goals came from Peyton Mathisen, Hannah Nota, Sophie Bovill, Lily Berquist and Bella Humphreys.

Hanover defeated Scituate, 15-8.

Braintree's Bella Duffy had 6 goals and 3 assists in a 16-8 win over Canton. Ava MacDonald (5 goals, 2 assists), Claire Joyce (3 goals), Mia Francis (6 draw controls) and Norah Downey (11 saves) also starred for the Wamps (10-7).

BOYS LACROSSE

Whitman-Hanson's Connor McCarthy and Gavin McCarthy each scored twice in a 14-6 loss to Barnstable.

Southeastern defeated Upper Cape Tech, 11-10.

GIRLS TENNIS

Hingham defeated Whitman-Hanson, 4-1, sweeping the singles with Sanya Khadivi, Gabi Magner and Katie Whitlock. The Harborwomen are 13-3. Whitman-Hanson won at first doubles as Sophie Ennis and Maddy Morris outlasted Hingham's Mia Sacco and Sienna Besser, 7-5, 1-6, 7-6 (7-4).

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

BC High's Mason Cleary had 20 kills in a 3-1 win over Greater New Bedford Voke. Remi Roko (11 blocks), Martin Alvarez (18 digs) and Connor Gallagher (17 digs) also starred for the Eagles (15-2), who have won 10 in a row.

Braintree defeated Norwood, 3-0, on Senior Night.

Thursday, May 16

BASEBALL

Lucas Riley (2 hits, 2 RBI) led Oliver Ames to a 4-3 win over Sharon. AJ Baroncelli and Thomas Whiteside with a hit and RBI each in the win. Alex Saade and Andrew Whiteside pitched well out of the Tigers' bullpen.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Silver Lake's Maggie Keller earned her 500th career save in a 15-5 loss to Duxbury. Taylor Corr (2 goals), Caitlin Dilley, Grace Faherty and Kalissa Robinson scored for the Lakers.

North Quincy's Autumn O’Campos (4 goals) surpassed 200 career points in a 17-7 loss to Hanover.

Lauren Byrne made 7 saves as Weymouth defeated Braintree, 12-3.

Avery Regan (4 goals, 4 assists), Aine Norton (3 goals, 2 assists), Kate Greer (4 goals, 1 assist), Reese Hansen (3 goals, 1 assist) & Sienna Marshak (2 goals, 1 assist) and defender Kylie Newman shined in Cohasset's 18-6 win over Dover-Sherborn.

Fontbonne Academy defeated Rockland, 6-4.

Marshfield defeated Plymouth North, 14-9, on Senior Day.

BOYS LACROSSE

Hingham's Jack Daley and Jake Lopes scored their first career goals in a 19-1 win over Whitman-Hanson.

Jayson Kelleher (4 goals), Brendan Rosher (1 goal, 4 assists) and Nikos Triantafillou (2 goals, 1 assist) led Bridgewater-Raynham in a 9-8 overtime loss to King Philip.

South Shore Tech's Todd Egan (5 goals, 3 assists), Ben Tondorf (2 goals, 3 assists), Tyler Kline (3 goals, 1 assist), Eamon Haley (3 goals) and Jameson Sherwood (2 goals) and Tanner Graden (11 saves) combined to defeat Cardinal Spellman, 15-8.

Willy Robinson and Dolan Floyd each put in 4 goals to lead Scituate to a 21-4 victory over Pembroke. Quinn DeCourcey scored 1 goal and made 5 assists, and Willy Cahill scored 2 goals and made 4 assists in the Sailors' win.

Oliver Rice scored 5 goals and 1 assist in Norwell's 16-4 win over Dover-Sherborn. Nolan Petrucelli (2 goals, 1 assist), Tyler Mikus (2 goals), Matt Panttila (2 goals, 1 assist), Teddy Glynn (1 goal), Jake McGuirk (1 goal, 4 assists), Charlie Booras (2 goals), Bret Amorosino (1 assist), Joey McCarthy (1 goal) and Devyn Blige (5 saves) performed well in the Clippers' win.

Milton lost to Walpole, 15-5.

Duxbury defeated Silver Lake, 22-3.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Barnstable defeated North Quincy, 3-0.

BOYS TENNIS

Evan Pettit (8-4, first singles), Luca Moretti (8-4, third singles), and the duo of Owen Sadowski and Henry Jacobs (8-4, second doubles) earned individual wins for Norwell in its 3-2 victory over Weymouth. Aidan Gilmartin (second singles) and the duo of Matt Alabiso and Ben Garland (first doubles) also played well for the Clippers.

Wednesday, May 15

BOYS LACROSSE

Hunter Grafton scored his 400th career point, but Abington lost to Nantucket, 14-4.

Jack Kavaleski's 100th career goal was an overtime winner in Middleboro's 7-6 victory over West/East Bridgewater. He finished with 5 goals. Wyatt Goyette had a goal and 3 assists and Aiden Gallant scored the other goal. WEB got 2 goals each from Cylas Hickey, Connor Kingman and Collin Brown.

Tyler Davidson made 14 saves in Southeastern's 13-5 win over Tri-County. Brendan Cooper (5 goals), Peyton Volz (4) and Colton Penticost (2) led the way offensively.

Oliver Ames lost to Boston Latin Academy, 10-9, in overtime. Lucas Gangi (assist) and Shaun Teehan each had hat tricks.

Senior captain Sean McGowan recorded his 200th save of the season in Stoughton's 19-5 loss to Stoughton. Sean Rockwood (2 goals, assist) and Jack Carr (3 goals) both had 3-point days.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Quincy defeated Plymouth South, 17-5.

Mariah Strong made 10 saves in Cardinal Spellman's 13-7 loss to Ursuline Academy. Elle Murphy had 6 goals and 13 draw controls.

Notre Dame Academy defeated Norwell, 15-4. Charlotte Pithie made 12 saves in the loss and Holly Panttila had 2 goals.

SOFTBALL

Delaney Moquin went 3-for-3 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs in Silver Lake's 25-0 win over Duxbury. She also struck out 9 in the circle. Nina O'Neil went 3-for-5 with a grand slam. Alannah Waters, Anna Craft and Emma D’Angelo all had 3 hits apiece.

Sadie Steuterman and Abby Hunt had 2 hits apiece in Milton's 6-4 loss to Walpole. Cara Facey had a hit and 4 solid at-bats while Christina McA'Nulty had an RBI single.

Marshfield defeated Whitman-Hanson, 14-3, as Emily Harper, Rowan Dillon and Lily Newman each had 3 hits and 2 RBIs. Riley Lanzillo had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Whitman-Hanson's Kailyn Howard pitched well in relief in the loss while Victoria Sheehan had 3 hits.

Talia Beer allowed 4 hits and 1 walk in a shutout effort in Hanover's 2-0 win over Pembroke. Kaelyn Chase doubled and scored on a Noey Giardina single in the fourth inning for the Hawks (8-8). In the seventh, Giardina singled and scored.

Fontbonne Academy defeated O'Bryant, 12-4, as Ava Donaghue had 13 strikeouts.

Braintree's Gabby Diaute went 3-for-3 with a triple, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored in a 20-3 win over Weymouth. Catherine McPhee went 3-for-4 with a triple, 2 RBIs and 2 stolen bases, and Kendall O’Neil was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBIs for the Wamps (8-8). Weymouth’s Bella Pires went 2-for-3 with a 3-run home run.

Notre Dame Academy beat Ursuline, 11-9, to win the Catholic Conference title as Shannon MacLeod struck out 13 and was 5-for-5 with 2 RBIs. Claire Ferrara went 4-for-5 with 2 doubles, a home run and 3 RBIs for NDA (8-5, 5-1), and Olivia Mainvielle was 4-for-4 with an RBI.

BASEBALL

Hanover defeated Pembroke, 7-1, to claim a share of the Patriot League Fisher Division title. Connor Hutchinson had a 2-RBI double in the sixth inning. Cole Hendrickson pitched a complete game, allowing 7 hits and 1 run.

David McNaught earned the win on the mound with a solid start (6 innings, 3 hits, 7 strikeouts) in Whitman-Hanson's 2-0 win over Marshfield. Jacob Getchell and Cam Beltramini (RBI) both went 2-for-3. Dylan Bausemer struck out the side in the seventh to earn the save.

William Shanahan pitched well in Archbishop Williams' 7-3 loss to St. John Paul II. Josh Turcotte had 2 RBIs.

Scott Longo pitched well (6 innings, 0 earned runs, 11 strikeouts) in Milton's 3-2 loss to Walpole. He also went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run. Harry Hinckle had a hit, walk and scored a run.

Silver Lake rallied by scoring 5 runs in the seventh inning to defeat Duxbury, 7-6. Jack Quigley started the rally with his second home run of the year. RJ Thorp had 3 hits.

Peter Brooks had 3 hits and 4 RBIs in Braintree's 11-1 win over Weymouth. Max Deroche pitched all 5 innings for the Wamps (15-3), who got a pair of hits each from Sam Garrity and Sean O'Rourke.

Cam Tetler pitched well and Alex Carroll (double) went 3-for-3 in Plymouth South's 6-3 win over Scituate.

Cardinal Spellman's Michael Boutiette (2-for-3, run) and Alex Conforatta (1-for-3, RBI) played well in a 9-1 loss to St. Mary's (Lynn). Colin Arruda collected his first varsity hit for the Cardinals.

BC High defeated Xaverian, 3-1, to improve to 12-4.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

North Quincy defeated Greater New Bedford Voke, 3-0, to clinch its 10th win and earn a tournament berth.

Barnstable defeated Quincy, 3-0.

GIRLS TENNIS

Evan Petit (first singles), Aidan Gilmartin (second singles), Luca Moretti (third singles), Matt Alabiso/Ben Garland (first doubles) and Owen Sadowski/Colton Schipani (second doubles) won their matches as Norwell defeated Carver, 5-0.

Notre Dame Academy defeated Ursuline Academy, 4-1, getting singles wins from Sophia Lirio and Vivienne LaGrassa and sweeping the doubles matches with the teams of Molly Dunigan/Clara Healey and Gabi Marchione/Lily Studebaker.

Hingham defeated Plymouth North, 5-0, getting singles wins from Sam Ruddick, Sanya Khadivi and Hannah Mello. The Harborwomen (12-3) also swept the doubles matches with the teams of Sammy Price/Gabi Magner and Mia Sacco/Maddie Cusack.

SOFTBALL

Archbishop Williams beat Arlington Catholic, 11-6, to clinch its first Catholic Central League championship in almost 20 years. Alyssa Burke (4-for-5, triple, home run, 4 RBIs, 3 runs) led the offense. Audrey Kelley was 2-for-3 with a walk, a triple and 2 runs scored, and Ashley Caruso was 1-for-2 with a walk, a home run, 2 RBIs and 2 runs. Jill Ondrick (11 strikeouts) earned the win in the circle for the Bishops (12-4).

Oliver Ames' Crystyliah Covel (2-for-4, 2 RBIs) plated the tying run in the sixth inning, and Paige Taylor (2-for-4) drove in the winning run later in the inning in a 4-3 victory over Canton. Winning pitcher Taylor Marino had 7 strikeouts, and Katie Berg and Katherine Farley each had 2 hits for OA. Canton's Sam Grady (2-for-2, RBI) and Anna Lehan (2-run triple) played well.

Abington's Elsie Testa threw a 1-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and no walks and was 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs in a 12-0 win over Carver. Brenna Howley, Calli Pineau, Kasie Bailey, Malia Goldberg, Maddie McDonald and Liv D’Ambra all had RBIs for the Green Wave (16-1).

East Bridgewater's Olivia Atkins (2 hits) and Bella Abrams (2-run double) were standouts in a 7-3 loss to Middleboro.

Duxbury's Elizabeth Carroll was 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs in a 9-2 win over Weymouth. Riley Chaplin earned the victory in the circle with 4 strikeouts.

Cohasset's Caitlyn Simms was 4-for-4 with a double, a home run (No. 3 on the season), 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored in a 17-3 win over Sandwich. Maddy LeFevre also hit her third home run of the season; she was 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs. Taylor Soderberg was 4-for-4, and Angelina Grimes and Catherine Toomey each went 3-for-4.

Norwell's Alaina McGraw threw a complete game for her first career win in an 8-3 victory over Rockland. Abby Greene (3-for-3, home run), Evelyn Sim (3-for-4, 4 RBIs) and Penny Saich (2-for-4, 2 RBIs) starred at the plate for the Clippers (10-4).

South Shore Tech's Lindsey Lincolne, Jill Gesswell and Maya Crawford scored runs in a 15-3 loss to Westport.

BASEBALL

Hull's Luke Dunham was 5-for-5 with a triple and 5 RBIs in a 24-10 win over Avon that ended after 5 innings. John Reynolds (2-for-2), Max McEachern (2-for-3, triple) and Nick Tiani (1-for-3) each drove in a pair of runs for the Pirates (11-5), who have won seven straight. Avon's Jordan Medeiros had 3 hits, and Zach Mayo and Ben Mayo had 2 each.

Norwell's Eli Walsh was 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs in a 13-3 win over Rockland. Will Corbin (2-for-3, double, 2 RBIs) and Jake Horwitz (2-for-3, RBI) also starred at the plate for the Clippers (14-3). Winning pitcher Ky Princi allowed 1 earned run over 5 innings with 4 strikeouts.

Carver's Derek Lopes was 4-for-5 with two home runs, a triple, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a 15-10 win over Abington. Tyler Lennox was 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and 3 runs, and Levon Mulready earned the win in relief and was 2-for-4 with a walk, 2 RBIs and 3 runs.

Middleboro's Cole Kelleher threw a complete-game 1-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over East Bridgewater. He outdueled EB's Devon Blair, who worked 5⅔ innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits with 6 strikeouts. Brody Lovell had 2 walks and 2 steals for the Vikings in the loss.

Canton's Kyle Redquest (3-for-4, 2 doubles, 2 RBIs, 2 runs) and Shane Kelleher (3-for-5, 3 RBIs) starred in a 13-7 win over Oliver Ames.

Mashpee defeated Cohasset, 12-6.

South Shore Tech beat Holbrook, 8-1.

Whitman-Hanson goalie Liv Godwin made 17 saves, including No. 300 for her career, in an 8-7 win over Plymouth North. Shannon Balfe scored 2 goals, including the winner with a minute left. Maddy Geagan added a hat trick for the Panthers (10-5).

Weymouth's Megan Doyle had 6 points and 14 draw controls in a 12-8 win over Needham. Mira Flaherty (3 points, 5 ground balls) also starred for the Wildcats (11-5), and Kendall Rogers, Lily Krawciw and Maddie Taylor all finished with 2 points.

Bridgewater-Raynham's Emily Keefe had 6 goals and 3 assists in a 21-12 win over New Bedford. Ashley McLaren, Erin Rennie and Lexi White each had a hat trick, and Claire Fitzsimmons added 2 goals and 2 assists for B-R.

Hingham goalie Izzy Puleo made 11 saves in her first varsity start, and Lily Samoska scored her first career goal in a 16-5 win at Plymouth South for the Harborwomen (12-3).

Hanover's Charlotte Wheeler made 15 saves in an 8-6 win over Duxbury. Emma Dolan (4 goals), Eva Kelliher (hat trick) and Sophie Schiller (3 assists) also starred for the Hawks (10-3).

Pembroke's Madison Conley scored twice in a 9-6 loss to Silver Lake.

Quincy defeated North Quincy, 11-6. NQ's Autumn O'Campos had 3 goals and 2 assists.

BOYS LACROSSE

Bridgewater-Raynham's Jayson Kelleher (4 goals) and Brendan Rosher (3 goals, 2 assists) starred in a 12-9 win over Barnstable that clinched a 14th consecutive tournament berth for the Trojans (9-5).

Hingham's Dylan Patterson scored 4 goals in a 15-5 win over Plymouth South. Eight different players scored for the Harbormen (13-2).

Whitman-Hanson's Connor McCarthy (4 goals) and Gavin McCarthy (3 goals) starred in a 9-8 Senior Day win over Plymouth North.

Marshfield's Jon Sullivan had a hat trick in a 7-5 win over Scituate for the Rams (12-3).

Milton defeated Brookline, 6-3.

Duxbury defeated Hanover, 16-1.

GIRLS TENNIS

Marshfield edged Whitman-Hanson as Olivia Gilbert and Emily Herzog won in singles, along with the doubles team of Therese McCormick/Kate Simcik. W-H got wins from Sam Jacobsen and the doubles team of Sophie Ennis/Maddy Morris.

Hingham defeated Pembroke, 4-1, getting singles wins from Sanya Khadivi (No. 2) and Sammy Price (No. 3) and sweeping the doubles matches with the teams of Gabi Magner/Mia Sacco and Maddie Cusack/Cassie McCabe. The Harborwomen are 11-3. Pembroke's Nicole Makarawecz won at first singles.

Oliver Ames edged Canton, 3-2, getting singles wins from Hannah Farber and Stella Zachos and a doubles victory from the team of Ava Barth/Emily Beaulieu.

Notre Dame Academy swept a doubleheader from Malden Catholic, winning both matches 5-0.

North Quincy defeated Quincy, 5-0.

BOYS TENNIS

Whitman-Hanson beat Marshfield, 5-0, getting singles wins from Brady Wright, Mateo Santalucia and Blake Belcher, plus doubles wins from the teams of Tristan Baker/Ryan Hathaway and Connor Thomas/Sebastian Petrus.

North Quincy defeated Quincy, 4-1.

BOYS TRACK & FIELD

In an 8o-56 loss to Seekonk, West Bridgewater's Kenly Laime won the shot put and high jump, placed second in the 200 and ran on the winning 4x100m relay team (with Sean Hancock, Sam Salter and Tyler Holmes) that set a school record. James Harris won the javelin for WB (2-3).

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD

In a 74-58 win over Seekonk, West Bridgewater's Kerri Gomes won the javelin with a PR throw, finished second in the 400m and was third in the discus. Chloe Gauthier won the triple jump, setting a PR.

GIRLS GOLF

Duxbury defeated Scituate, 6-0, getting wins from Harper Capilli, Caroline Donovan, Ava Welch, Hailey Flynn, Marley Hamilton, Geneveive Taylor, Mary Kate Higgins and Lauren Reilly.

Quincy/North Quincy defeated Silver Lake, 3.5-2.5.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Wellesley defeated Weymouth, 3-1.

BOYS LACROSSE

Hunter Grafton (5 goals, 5 assists), Jonathan Halpin (3 goals, 6 assists) and Matt Grafton (5 goals, 2 assists) had big offensive showings in Abington's 18-8 win over Middleboro.

Teddy Lynch scored his 100th career goal in Quincy/North Quincy's 14-7 win over Somerville.

King Philip defeated Stoughton, 18-0.

Ethan St. Jean made 13 saves in Oliver Ames' 15-0 loss to Franklin.

Cylas Hickey (5 goals, assist) and Connor Kingman (3 goals, 4 assists) led the way offensively and Brayden Bates starred in net as West Bridgewater/East Bridgewater defeated Hull, 10-3.

Teddy Glynn had 3 goals and 2 assists in Norwell's 11-9 loss to Xaverian.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Cohasset defeated Sandwich, 15-9, behind 5 goals and an assist from Avery Regan. Janet O'Carroll made 7 saves.

Ashley McLaren scored her 100th career point in Bridgewater-Raynham's 10-9 loss to Bishop Feehan. Emily Keefe scored 7 goals.

Marin Healey played well in Hull's 18-2 win over East Bridgewater.

Elle Murphy scored 8 goals in Cardinal Spellman's 17-11 loss to St. Mary's of Lynn. She's the first player in program history to reach 200 career goals.

Taylor McAndrew and Kit Perron each had a goal in Oliver Ames' 14-2 loss to Franklin.

Middleboro defeated Abington, 12-11.

Holly Panttila (6 goals, assist), Lexi Davos (4 goals, 2 assists) and Charlise Cox (3 goals, 4 assists) had big games in Norwell's 20-17 loss to Medfield.

Archbishop Williams' Emily Fleming (4 goals, assist) scored in OT to beat Arlington Catholic, 17-16. Clare O'Keefe (3 goals, 6 assists) posted her 300th career point in the win. Avery Valicenti (6 goals, 3 assists) and Caroline Batchelder (4 goals) also starred for the Bishops.

SOFTBALL

Zahria Daley and Sophie Fish combined for a no-hitter in Milton's 11-0 win over Brookline. Abbey Hunt and Victoria Fish each hit a home run while Cara Facey had 2 hits.

Delaney Moquin allowed 2 hits and struck out 12 in Silver Lake's 8-2 win over Plymouth North. Alannah Waters (2-for-2), Addison Willett (2-for-3, 2 RBIs), Anna Craft (2 RBIs) and Mady Bryan (2 RBIs) led the offensive effort.

Needham defeated Weymouth. Paige Sellon and Lindsay Fleming each had 1 RBI.

Randolph defeated Muniz Academy, 15-0.

Pembroke defeated Quincy/North Quincy, 6-2.

Cohasset defeated Rockland, 9-1, Maddy LeFevre struck out 8 while allowing 4 hits. Catherine Toomey (2-for-4, double) had 4 RBIs and Angela Grimes (2-for-3) had an RBI and scored 3 times.

Duxbury defeated Whitman-Hanson, 9-1. Taryn Leonard and Ashlyn McCampbell each had 2 hits in the loss.

Noey Giardina had 3 hits (double, 2 runs, 2 RBIs) in Hanover's 12-8 loss to Plymouth South. McKenzie Foley had 2 hits (triple, 3 runs, 2 RBIs).

Abby Mercer had 2 RBIs and Julia Schirmer went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Hingham's 6-3 win over Marshfield. Bilyana Wilkin had 2 hits, scored twice and earned the win in the circle.

Madi Delano pitched a shutout (5 strikeouts, 4 hits, 1 walk) in Bridgewater-Raynham's 1-0 win over New Bedford. Chloe Martin plated Lily Berman with an infield hit in the bottom of the fifth inning for the game's lone run.

Sophomore Sofia Duran had a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to push Fontbonne Academy to an 8-7 win over Bristol-Plymouth.

Rebecca Hornung allowed 1 run and struck out 9 in Southeastern's 5-1 win over East Bridgewater.

Maddie Butler (RBI) and Regina Silva (3 RBIs) had 3 hits apiece in Carver's 27-14 win over St. John Paul II.

BASEBALL

Marshfield defeated Hingham, 6-2, behind a complete game from Tor Maas (1 earned run, 4 hits, 7 strikeouts. Jack Doherty and Cole Summers each had 2 RBIs, and Anderson Dalton had a 2-run triple.

George Slauson (home run, 2 RBIs, 2 runs) and DC Brown (3-for-4) led Plymouth North to a 12-2 win over Silver Lake.

Jack Reyes (5 hits, 2 walks allowed, 8 strikeouts) pitched a shutout in Weymouth's 1-0 win over Needham. Matt Oates had an RBI double.

Abington defeated Middleboro, 12-3, as John Sellon belted a home run and Cullen Crocker had 2 hits. Steve Madden pitched 5 innings to pick up his third win of the season.

North Quincy defeated Pembroke, 7-0, behind 6 shutout innings from Michael Campbell (2 hits allowed, 9 strikeouts. Charlie Ambroult had 3 RBIs.

Ryder Holmes earned the win in the start and Brady Shuffain had a 2-inning save in Carver's 9-4 win over St. John Paul II. Nathan Dirado had a pair of doubles and 5 RBIs.

Ben Dowdall earned his first varsity win on the mound, allowing 1 hit over 3 ⅓ innings in West Bridgewater's 6-5 win over Case.

Jack Sullivan (2-for-2, walk) and Reid Dexter both had 2 RBIs in Milton's 9-5 win over Brookline.

Liam Shepherd went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored in Norwell's 5-1 win over Martha's Vineyard. Jack Magee earned the win while Cam Hohmann pitched a scoreless seventh.

Collin Meserve pitched a gem (complete game, 10 strikeouts, 3 hits, 0 walks, 1 run) in East Bridgewater's 3-1 win over Rockland.

Braintree defeated Walpole, 3-2, in 11 innings as Sean Canavan doubled leading off and scored on an error in the 11th. Luke Joyce (7 innings, 2 hits, 1 run allowed) and Connor Grieve (4 innings of shutout relief) pitched well. Cal Youhas and Canavan each had an RBI for the Wamps (14-3).

Alex Confarotta pitched well (5 ⅓ innings) and 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs in Cardinal Spellman's 6-5 win over Southeastern. Michael Boutiette, Ben Catton, Johnny Petruzzo, Jeremy Schapansky, Caleb Foster and Kevin Sanchez each had 1 hit.

Gabriel Knudsen struck out 16 in Hanover's 2-0 win over Plymouth South. He allowed 2 hits and 1 walk in the shutout effort. Joseph DaCosta, the Hawks' No. 8 hitter, had 3 hits. He and Sam Light drove in runs.

Hull's Nick Tiani was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and 3 RBIs in a 16-4 win over Norfolk Aggie that was shortened to 5 innings. Luke Dunham (3-for-3, 3 RBIs) and John Reynolds (2-for-3, 2 RBIs) also starred at the plate for the Pirates (10-5), and Liam Coneely earned the complete-game win, allowing 4 hits with 10 strikeouts.

Whitman-Hanson's Ryan Baker earned the win by allowing 1 earned run and 5 hits in 6 innings in a 7-1 win over Duxbury. Jason Nye, Cam Beltramini and Johnny Walker all had 2-hit days.

Ayden Lisi (double, triple) had 5 RBIs and 3 runs and Tommy Guinan pitched allowed 1 hit over a 5-inning complete game in Scituate's 12-1 win over Quincy.

Holbrook eighth-grader John Mento allowed 2 hits over 5 innings with 6 strikeouts in a 15-2 win over Bristol Aggie. Angel Calderone had 3 hits and 4 RBIs for the Bulldogs.

BOYS TENNIS

Scituate defeated Quincy, 5-0.

North Quincy defeated Pembroke, 5-0.

In Olives Ames' 3-2 win over Norton, as Max Westerbeke (third singles), Nick Wagner/Brendan Teehan (first doubles) and Alex Vasilou/Jack Andromolas (second doubles) won their matches.

GIRLS TENNIS

Scituate defeated Quincy, 5-0.

Pembroke defeated North Quincy, 4-1.

Oliver Ames beat Stoughton, 4-1, getting singles wins from Hannah Farber (No. 1) and Stella Zachos (No. 2) and sweeping the doubles with the teams of Emily Beaulieu/Ava Barth and Ella Mierzwinski/Ali Querzoli.

Hingham defeated Marshfield, 4-1, getting singles wins from Sanya Khadivi (No. 2) and Sammy Price (No. 3) and sweeping the doubles with the teams of Gabi Magner/Simran Vaishnava and Ellie Clark/Sienna Besser. The Harborwomen are 10-3.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

North Quincy defeated Xaverian, 3-0.

Greater New Bedford Voke defeated Quincy, 3-0.

BOYS TRACK & FIELD

Brockton defeated Bridgewater-Raynham, 126-121, to claim the Southeast Conference championship. Lucas Andrade took first in three events (100 meters, 200, high jump) for the Boxers. Jarred Mighty won the 110 hurdles and 400 hurdles while Jaden Lopes-Ribeiro won the long jump and was second in the high jump. Wolf Victor won the 400m. The 4x100 relay team of Cijai Tyler, Ricardo Pierre, Jovanni Volcimus and Brandon Torres won to secure the victory.

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD

Brockton's Issys Price won the 100m and long jump and ran on the winning 4x100 relay as the Boxers placed second in the Southeast Conference championship meet. Anya Rizzo (javelin), Bianca Resende-Ambroise (triple jump) and Hulda Fernandes (high jump) also won events.

GIRLS GOLF

Notre Dame Academy defeated Ursuline Academy, 5-1, at South Shore Country Club.
