Hilton's Robert Lowry electric with 207 yards, 3 TDs: Section V's top performances Friday

Here are the top performances on football fields around Section V during the season-opening games on Thursday and Friday:

Robbie Becker, Attica/Alexander: The defensive lineman collected 11 tackles in a 16-12 win over Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw.

Alex Bohrer, Livonia: Senior linebacker made a team-high 11 tackles, while senior defensive back Kyle Weterrings made nine during the team's 30-21 loss to Hornell.

Parker Bonefede, York/Pavilion: Sophomore quarterback was intercepted twice but hung in to finish 9 of 19 passing for 139 yards and a touchdown and had 55 rushing yards on 7 carries with a touchdown during the team's come-from-behind 20-12 win over Batavia Notre Dame.

Ryan Brady, York/Pavilion: Sophomore linebacker intercepted a pass and returned it 20 yards and made nine tackles during a 20-12 win over Batavia Notre Dame.

DeSean Bruce, Geneva: The Panthers defensive back returned one of his two interceptions for a touchdown during a 36-0 win over Penn Yan.

Riley Burks, Edison merged: Junior linebacker had seven tackles, teammates D'Shawn Thomas and Terrell Hollins five each during a loss to McQuaid.

Trent Buttles, Aquinas: The freshman quarterback completed 9 of 17 passes for 97 yards, a touchdown, and an interception during a 33-7 loss to UPrep.

Tavion Byrd, UPrep: The junior quarterback's 86-yard run was part of a three total touchdown day. He completed 8 of 15 passes for 100 yards and rushed for 86 of his 101 yards on a third quarter touchdown scamper during a 33-7 win at Aquinas.

Sam Clark, Canandaigua: Rushed 10 times for 76 yards and a touchdown during a 27-3 win over Spencerport.

Noah Collins-Howard, Aquinas: The freshman receiver had three receptions for 60 yards, and his 12-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter gave Aquinas the lead but the Little Irish couldn't hold and lost 33-7 to UPrep.

Ray DeJesus, Geneva: The Panthers quarterback rushed for three touchdowns on 61 yards, and completed 3 of 9 passes for 51 yards during a 36-0 win over Penn Yan.

Anthony Diaz, East/World of Inquiry: Senior defensive back intercepted a pass and made six tackles against Churchville-Chili.

Section V's top games from Friday: UPrep explodes for 33 straight points at Aquinas

Tyler Estelle, Webster Thomas: Returned an interception 48 yards for a touchdown and sophomore linebacker MJ Wells made five tackles, three for losses, as the Titans won 26-9 at Eastridge.

Jackson Fix, LeRoy: Scored two touchdowns while rushing for 165 yards on 15 carries and teammate Tony Piazza also had two rushing touchdowns among 95 yards on nine carries as LeRoy ran away to a 43-6 win over Bath Haverling.

Dominic Gullace, Canandaigua: Returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown during a 27-3 win over Spencerport.

Micah Harshfield, Red Jacket: Rushed for two touchdowns while rushing for 183 yards, threw a touchdown pass and made seven tackles during the team's 55-28 loss to Pembroke in 8-man football.

Connor Hegeman, LeRoy: Oatkan Knights senior defensive back returned an interception 102 yards for a touchdown during the team's 37-point win over Bath Haverling.

Drew Hilfiker, Webster Schroeder: Warriors quarterback had four touchdown passes while completing 24 of 30 attempts for 333 yards during a 42-21 win at Brockport.

Case Hill, Attica/Alexander: The senior linebacker had 11 tackles in 16-12 win over Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw.

Gavin Horton, Webster Schroeder: Senior receiver caught six passes, 2 for touchdowns, and finished with 81 reception yards while the Warriors defeated Brockport 42-21.

Zymier Jackson, East/World of Inquiry: Senior quarterback threw two touchdown passes while completing 17 of 27 attempts for 245 yards and had a rushing touchdown to help the Eagles to a 45-14 win over Churchville-Chili.

Levi Kulik, Webster Thomas: Titans quarterback threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Mason Mylott and had a two-yard touchdown run during a 26-9 win at Eastridge.

Jacob Loughlin, Victor: The senior quarterback threw three touchdown passes, one to Eric Young, during a 41-14 win over Rush-Henrietta.

Quadere Lawson, Geneva: The Panthers running back had six carries for 112 yards and two touchdowns during a 36-0 win over Penn Yan.

Robert Lowry, Hilton: Senior running back scored 3 touchdowns as he finished with 207 yards on 13 carries during a 21-6 win over Pittsford.

Taiden Makubire, Irondequoit: Junior quarterback threw a touchdown pass while completing 7 of 12 attempts for 122 yards during a 52-21 win over Greece Athena.

Tyler Marino, Attica/Alexander: The Blue Devils running back had 10 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown during a 16-12 win over Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw.

Tyler Martinovich, Brighton: Senior quarterback threw a pair of touchdown passes to help the Bruins pull away Thursday to a 40-13 win over Wilson/Early College.

Justin Medina, Rush-Henrietta: The freshman running back scored a highlight reel worthy touchdown during a 41-14 loss to Victor.

Nikita Moiseiev, Brighton senior: made field goals of 30 and 33 yards, adding on during a 40-13 win for the Bruins over Wilson/Early College on Thursday.

Isaiah Moonschein, UPrep: The senior was a menace on the defensive line with a sack, six pressures and three of his seven tackles went for losses.

Jordan Nolan, Irondequoit: Senior receiver caught a touchdown pass and returned a punt for another six points while the Eagles defeated Greece Athena 52-21.

DJ O'Geen, LeRoy: Junior defensive lineman made nine tackles, one for a loss and Holden Sullivan had seven tackles, one for a loss, to help the Oatkan Knights shutdown Bath Haverling 43-6.

Sam Olvany, Canandaigua: Had two receptions for 47 yards, including a 10-yard pass for a touchdown from Williamee during a 27-3 win over Spencerport.

Gavin Parks, Brighton: Junior running back scored 2 touchdowns Thursday while gaining 128 yards on 13 carries during a 40-13 win over Wilson/Early College.

Xavier Praylor, Geneva: The Panthers linebacker had an interception and three tackles during a 36-0 win over Penn Yan.

Sam Pucci, Fairport: A senior receiver listed at 6 feet-4 inches and 175 pounds, he caught 13 balls for 148 yards with a touchdown as the Red Raiders defeated Penfield 21-17.

Brady Quill, Hilton: Senior linebacker and junior linebacker John DiBattisto each made nine tackles to help the Cadets protect a 21-6 win over Pittsford.

Noah Remington, Fairport: Junior made a team-high 12 tackles while the Red Raiders defeated Penfield 21-17.

JJ Reese, Canisteo-Greenwood: Pulled in three catches for 61 yards, including the game-winning 23-yard touchdown reception with 18 seconds left of a 12-7 win over Avon.

Jameson Ricigliano, Victor: The senior scored one rushing touchdown and another one receiving during a 41-14 win over Rush-Henrietta.

Adam Ruffalo, Victor: The senior receiver caught two touchdown receptions during a 41-14 win over Rush-Henrietta.

CJ Robinson, UPrep: The transfer from Aquinas scored on his old team during a 33-7 win at Aquinas. He finished the game with 120 yards on 15 carries, and had another touchdown called back.

Amere Rodgers, Eastridge: The Lancers fell 26-9 to Webster Thomas, despite 8 tackles, 2 for losses, and 52 rushing yards.

Alexis Rosado, Aquinas: Was clutch on special teams with two punts that were downed inside the five-yard line, and completed a 25-yard fake punt pass, during a 33-7 loss to UPrep.

Jackson Rucker, Fairport: Senior quarterback did throw a pick-six interception, but finished 25 of 35 passing for 225 yards with 2 touchdowns as the Red Raiders rallied for a 21-17 win over Penfield.

Tyrell Simmons, UPrep: The senior scored twice on five receptions for 63 yards at receiver, blocked a punt on special teams, and had a sack and five pressures on defense during a 33-7 win at Aquinas.

Jaylen Singleton, UPrep: The defensive back returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown and made 6.5 tackles during a 33-7 win at Aquinas.

Cade Sumeriski, Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw: Rushed seven times for 33 yards and a 14-yard fourth quarter touchdown during a 16-12 loss to Attica.

Bryce Tallman, Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw: Completed 7 of 16 passes for 102 yards and a 53-yard touchdown to Jordan Brown during a 16-12 loss to Attica.

Landyn Thomas, Attica/Alexander: The Blue Devils running back had 10 carries for 79 yards and a touchdown during a 16-12 win over Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw.

Gianni Velazquez, Geneva: The Panthers linebacker had two of his eight tackles go for losses during a 36-0 win over Penn Yan.

Tyler Washington, Webster Schroeder: Junior receiver finished with 130 yards on seven catches, including 2 for touchdowns, while the Warriors won 42-21 over Brockport.

Webster Schroeder defense: Pass rush led to five interceptions at Brockport, where the Warriors won 42-21.

Ervin Wiggins, East/World of Inquiry: Senior returned a kickoff 70 yards and an interception 46 yards for touchdowns, plus caught seven passes for 117 yards with a touchdown and made eight tackles during his team's runaway win over Churchville-Chili.

Drew Williamee, Canandaigua: Completed 10 of 19 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns during a 27-3 win over Spencerport.

Jonathan Williams, Irondequoit: Senior middle linebacker made eight tackles while the Eagles defeated Greece Athena 52-21.

Perrion Williams, East High/World of Inquiry: Senior linebacker made a team-high nine tackles, as the Eagles held down Churchville-Chili 45-14 at East High.

Myles Wynn, Irondequoit: Scored three touchdowns while gaining 136 yards on 11 carries, as the Eagles defeated Greece Athena 52-21.

Drevariis Yeomas: Victor's junior running back scored a three touchdowns in the first six minutes of a 41-14 win over Rush-Henrietta.

Judd York, Canandaigua: Had three receptions for 37 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown and made three PATs during a 27-3 win over Spencerport.

Beau Zeh, Canisteo-Greenwood: Was a workhorse with 26 carries for 156 yards during a 12-7 win over Avon.
