Bremen Lions (2-1) at Triton Trojans (2-1)

When/Where: Friday 7 p.m., Trojan Tundra, Bourbon.

Series: Bremen leads 42-5 but Triton won 51-10 last season on Sept. 9 in Bremen.

Last week: Coach Jordan Leeper’s Lions followed their 41-7 NIC North-South Division victory over South Bend Washington with 35-0 shutout of visiting South Central. … Coach Zach Whittaker’s Trojans moved to 1-1 in the Hoosier North Conference with 30-14 victory over visiting Caston.

Rankings: 2A Lions ranked No. 7 in South Bend Tribune area rankings but unranked by both Associated Press media and Indiana Football Coaches Association. … 1A Trojans No. 14 in AP media poll and No. 14 in IFCA.

South Bend Saint Joseph (2-1) at South Bend Adams Eagles (1-2)

Extra points: Saint Joseph blocked four punts, two by senior Tommy Eck, and sophomore Franco Biffle ran for two touchdowns against the Panthers. … Eagles are led by junior quarterback Phoenyx Clark, who has team-leading 145 rushing yards and has thrown for 431 yards, and senior wideout Braylon Williams (22 receptions, 238 yards, two touchdowns).

Mishawaka Marian Knights (1-2) at New Prairie Cougars (2-1)

Series: New Prairie leads 7-4 following 34-14 victory last Sept. 9 in Mishawaka.

Hammond Morton Governors (1-2) at Penn Kingsmen (2-1)

Series: First meeting between Northern Indiana Conference powerhouse Penn and Great Lakes Conference member Hammond Morton.

Last week: Coach Mac Mishler’s Governors fell 48-38 at Elkhart. … Coach Cory Yeoman’s Kingsmen fell 35-6 at Indianapolis Cathedral.

Rankings: 6A Kingsmen ranked No. 2 in South Bend Tribune area rankings, No. 12 by AP media and No.14 by IFCA.

Extra points: Kingsmen are led by senior quarterback Nolan McCullough (595 total yards), senior running back Jake Balis (269 yards) and senior cornerback-punt returner Vince Horner (three interceptions, one for touchdown; punt return for score against Cathedral).… Penn will have its hands full with Governors, who totaled 491 yards in offense against Elkhart and are led by junior quarterback Holland Harris (526 yards, five touchdowns) and senior running back Dontell Harris Jr. (384 yards, four touchdowns).

Northridge Raiders (2-1) at NorthWood Panthers (3-0)

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., Jim Andrews Field, Nappanee.

Series: NorthWood leads 45-8 but Northridge prevailed 34-17 in Class 4A sectional last Nov. 4 after NorthWood won during regular season 42-7 on Sept. 9.

Last week: Coach Chad Eppley’s Raiders opened Northern Lakes Conference schedule with 37-16 loss to visiting Mishawaka. … Coach Nate Andrews’ Panthers won NLC opener at Concord 45-14.

Rankings: 4A Panthers ranked No. 1 in South Bend Tribune area rankings, No. 4 by AP media and No. 5 by IFCA. … 4A Raiders ranked No. 8 in Tribune area rankings, No. 13 by AP media, No. 12 by IFCA.

Extra points: Raiders, led by senior quarterback Brayden Clark (621 yards, five touchdowns) and running backs McClain Miller (176 yards) and Derek Sherwood (117 yards), will need to control the clock against Panthers, who had 413 passing yards from senior Owen Roeder (1,020 yards, 12 touchdowns) and have four receivers with 192 yards or more this season in Landon Perry (264), NiTareon Tuggle (240), Trey Woods (204) and Jojo Edmond (192).

Three Rivers Wildcats (0-2) at Niles Vikings (1-1)

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., Viking Stadium, Niles.

Series: Vikings lead 4-1 after 56-23 Division 4 district victory last Oct. 28. … Three Rivers won in regular season 27-21 on Sept. 16.

Last week: Coach Chris Gilliam’s Wildcats lost 51-30 to visiting Adrian. … Coach Scott Shaw’s Vikings fell 15-14 at Lakeshore in Stevensville.

Extra points: Shaw, a member of the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame, coached Wildcats to 2003 Division 4 state championship with a 13-1 record. … Vikings, who lost on two-point conversion with 27 seconds left, are led by running backs Sam Rucker (224 yards) and Paul Hess (189).
