Iowa stomped Northwestern 96-73 to move into a tie for first place in the Big Ten and up to 3rd nationally in this week’s polls. Up next for the Hawkeyes is a home matchup with the Indiana Hoosiers.
More treatment will help Franklin, but so will more time just to get up some shots and feel good about his perimeter game again. Indiana needs that, and needs it bad, because Franklin, the sophomore guard from Indianapolis, is its second-best player. He's their best defender, and their best perimeter threat.

Merely using the size advantage afforded by his 6-foot-10, 265-pound frame has been key, and Boilermakers coach Matt Painter wants Williams to continue that trend when Purdue hosts Penn State on Sunday afternoon in West Lafayette, Ind. "When he keeps things simple, he's tough to deal with," Painter said.
