Hiebel, Sonego voted Route 30 Athletes of the Week

Lexington's Jack Hiebel and Rittman's Artie Sonego were voted the Route 30 Athletes of the Week.

Hiebel was nominated after scoring five goals in two nights including three in a win over West Holmes and two more in a win over Clear Fork. He received 3,927 votes.

Ontario's Addie Pittman, Galion's Nathan McMullen, Rottman's Luke Snyder, Smithville's Naomi Keib, Crestview's Leyna Gerich, Crestview's Cooper Brockway, Colonel Crawford's Cecelia Chase, Shelby's Baylie Hoffbauer, Ashland's Chloe Ediger, Hiland's Haley Yoder and Northwestern's Kade Tegtmeier all earned nominations.

There were 11,151 votes tallied.

Sonego earned a nomination after running for 176 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 carries in the first half of Rittman's 52-0 win over Windham. He collected 13,250 votes.

Mansfield Senior's Nate Dismuke, Wynford's Anthony Evans, Ontario's Bodpegn Miller, Shelby's Issaiah Ramsey, Norwayne's Dylan Smith, Hillsdale's Jack Fickes, Buckeye Centrals' Derex Dean, Crestview's Liam Kuhn and West Holmes's Morgan Smith all earned nominations.

There were 28,259 votes tallied.
