Gregg Williams not worried about coaching future

Gregg Williams returned from suspension this season and has helped turn around what was a deplorable Tennessee Titans defense from last year.

Williams, who signed a one-year contract after his suspension for the Saints bounty episode was lifted in February, isn't entertaining any notions of becoming a defensive coordinator or head coach again just yet. His title in Tennessee is senior defensive assistant.

Speaking to the media for just the second time since training camp opened, Williams said via TitanInsider, “Those kinds of things, I just love coaching, no matter what position. I loved being a special teams coordinator, I loved being a defensive coordinator. I loved being a position coach,” Williams said. “I really, in all honesty, I take no time to think about those things. I love being a mentor and leader of young men. I love that aspect of it, and this is really a good group of young men to be around. And I get as much from them as they do from me.”

If the Titans' defense continues to play well - Tennessee is plus 9 ini turnover margin - Williams could find himself again a coveted commodity, just a year after being out of the league.
