Green Bay Packers' Quay Walker's penalty directly leads to Detroit Lions touchdown

Packers linebacker Quay Walker is developing quite a bad history against the Detroit Lions.

In his first chance at redemption after being ejected Week 18 in January against Detroit for pushing an athletic trainer, Walker became the focal point of the game again for the wrong reasons. Walker jumped over the Lions field goal line to try to block the kick that would've given Detroit a 13-point lead and was penalized.

While the mistake wasn't as costly for Walker, it was for the Packers. Green Bay was immediately punished for Walker's mistake, as the successful field goal was wiped off the board and the Lions were given a first down and moved half the distance to the goal. Running back David Montgomery soon found the end zone for the third time to deliver the dagger.

Walker struggled with decision-making last season. He was ejected from two games last season, including the season finale loss to the Lions. In that game, Walker pushed a Lions trainer who was trying to attend to an injured D'Andre Swift.
