Gov. Mifflin beats Warwick in high school football
Oct. 28—Javien Pletz ran for two touchdowns to lead Gov. Mifflin to a 19-14 win over Warwick Friday in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 game at Shillington.
Pletz scored on a pair of 1-yard runs, the last giving Mifflin (3-3, 5-5) at 19-7 lead in the fourth quarter.
Reese Hohl scored on a 12-yard run in the first quarter for the Mustangs, who led 12-0 at the half.
Keldyn Loraw scored both TDs for the Warriors (2-4, 3-8). He had an 8-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and a 4-yard scoring run in the fourth.
Mifflin likely will earn a berth in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
