Jan. 26—ROCHESTER — Lourdes won for the 12th time in its last 13 games, beating Lake City 51-47.

Sophomore forward Lauren Hust had another big game with 23 points. Aaliyah Williams added 17.

Lourdes (9-1 HVL, 13-4 overall) led 25-19 at intermission against the Tigers (7-3, 10-10). The Eagles outscored Lake City 8-3 from the free-throw line.

Emily Gates and Sadie Sanders led Lake City with nine points apiece.

ROCHESTER — John Marshall notched a solid 63-54 win over Austin as Jazmin Daing scored 23 points and Ciara Seifert had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the Big Nine Conference game.

JM improved to 10-4 in the league and 12-5 overall. Austin is 5-8, 6-10.

JM and Austin were tied at 32-all at halftime.

Austin was paced by Ajiem Agwa with another huge scoring night, the junior notching 32 points.

Laynie Meister added 11 points for JM, which has won four of its last five games.

FARIBAULT — Mayo stayed unbeaten in the Big Nine Conference and did it with ease with an 81-39 win over struggling Faribault.

The Spartans moved to 12-0 in the league and 15-3 overall. Faribault is 1-11, 3-14.

Mayo rode a balanced scoring effort. Kaia Kirkeby nailed six 3-pointers and scored 22 points. Ava Miller had 18 points, Maggie Dyer 16 and Amelia Mills 11.

Mayo led 47-21 at intermission.

Winona led the Panthers 32-19 at halftime.

Century dipped to 7-5 in the Big Nine and 10-8 overall. Winona is 10-3, 13-5.

Alivia Bell scored 14 points for the Winhawks and Lex Vesel and MacKenzie Simmons had 13 points apiece.

Nora Lynch had five 3-pointers and 21 points for Century. She was the Panthers' only player in double figures.
