Condon is also closing in on an NCAA record, as his 33rd home run tied the all-time mark for home runs in a single season in the BBCOR era, which started in 2011 when college baseball switched from the previous BESR (Bat Exit Speed Ratio) bats.

Condon ties the record which was set by Florida's Jac Caglianone last season as a sophomore. Caglianone, one of the top prospects of the upcoming MLB draft alongside Condon, has 26 home runs so far this season.

Entering Sunday's game against Vanderbilt, Condon held a slash line of .459/1.105/1.673 with 69 RBIs, 41 walks and 83 hits in 181 at-bats.

Condon's 33rd home run also placed him inside the top-10 in the NCAA's all-time single-season home runs list.
