Georgia football kickoff time, TV assignment announced for UAB game in Week 4
Georgia football’s Sept. 23 home game against UAB has a kickoff time set and a TV network determined.
The game between the Bulldogs and Blazers is set for 7:30 p.m. and will air on ESPN2, according to an announcement Monday.
It’s the final game of a four-game stretch at Sanford Stadium to open the season.
Georgia and UAB are playing for the second time in the last three years. The Bulldogs won 56-7 on Sept. 11, 2021.

UAB, in the first season under new coach and former Super Bowl winning quarterback Trent Dilfer, is 1-1. The Blazers beat North Carolina A&T 35-6 to open the season and lost at Georgia Southern 49-35 Saturday. They host Louisiana Saturday.
Top-ranked Georgia is 2-0 entering Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. game on CBS against South Carolina in its SEC opener. The Bulldogs two other home games had kickoff times of 6 p.m. and noon.
Georgia has won all three games against UAB all-time. UAB is in its first season in the American Athletic Conference.
