Georgia baseball sweeps Georgia Tech with comeback win

Georgia baseball has swept the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Georgia won the final game of the series against Georgia Tech, 11-9, with a clutch ninth inning. The Bulldogs trailed 9-3 against the Yellow Jackets after the sixth inning.

Fernando Gonzalez had a RBI in the ninth inning of Georgia’s win. Star Georgia infielder/outfield Charlie Condon continued his outstanding season. Condon hit a home run and went two of five with two RBIs in Georgia’s victory on Sunday.

Georgia baseball is now 10-1 on the season. Georgia won just two games in the series because the Friday edition of Georgia-Georgia Tech did not finish the fifth inning due to weather. Georgia held a 9-3 lead on Friday.

The Dawgs’ next game is against Georgia Southern in SRP Park in Augusta, South Carolina, at 6:35 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 5. Let’s take a look at Georgia’s top play against Georgia Tech and social media reactions after the Dawgs pulled off the sweep!
