Friday Night special: Week 4 predictions and outlooks for Fall River area teams

FALL RIVER — All five Fall River area football teams will take center stage under the Friday Night bright lights in Week 4.

Two of the five teams (Diman and Somerset Berkley) posted wins last week and will try to add to their win totals.

Atlantis Charter/Westport, Case and Durfee aim to get back into the win column this week.

Here’s an outlook of all four Week 4 games featuring Herald News teams along with predictions:

Will Leboeuf nabbed four catches for 70 yards while Gaboriault added four catches for 59 yards. Nathan Wood rushed for 102 yards on 16 carries. Last week, quarterback Sam Perry threw for three touchdowns — two to Kaidyn Dias and another to James McKenzie. Diman's TJ Cusick had a big defensive game, collecting two sacks, two tackles for loss and a force fumble. Tri-County came away with a tight, defensive win against Case in Week 3. Should be another close affair.

The Hilltoppers were blanked by Somerset Berkley on the road. Durfee, who had just 82 yards of total offense against the Raiders, hasn't scored points since its Week 1 matchup against Fairhaven. Eric Lucas had over 100 yards on special teams for the Hilltoppers. Ben Sherry caught three passes for 44 yards. The Warriors have allowed 75 points in two of their three losses.

Quarterback Derek Baliko completed four passes for 76 yards and a touchdown pass. Sam Grew rushed for over 100 yards and scored a touchdown for SBR.
