Final Scores:

No. 1 Central Bucks West 28, No. 8 Garnet Valley 27 (OT)

Cooper Taylor picked an opportune time to block his first extra point. With the quarterfinal game in overtime, and Garnet Valley scoring on its first possession, Taylor made the block on the PAT. And that wasn’t all he did. On the Bucks’ ensuing possession, Taylor scored the game-tying touchdown on an 8-yard run. Then, the Bucks’ ultra-reliable kicker, Ryan Clemens, sent the game-winning extra point through the uprights.

In addition to his feats on special teams and offense, Taylor also had an interception on defense. He finished with 182 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a performance that will be remembered for a long time in Central Bucks. Next week, the Bucks will host their rivals, No. 5 CB South, in the semifinals.

No. 6 Downingtown West 34, No. 3 Souderton 17

Souderton’s fantastic season, which included the first 10-0 regular season record in team history, came to an end against an always-tough Downingtown West team. After a scoreless first quarter, Quinn Henicle scored for the Whippets on a 10-yard run, and Rylan Zuk followed by a 34-yard field goal for Souderton. But the Whippets’ star QB wasn’t finished – Henicle threw a 34-yard TD pass to Dean Hangey with 7.8 seconds left in the half to give DW a 14-3 halftime lead.

After halftime, Henicle made it 20-3 with a 1-yard sneak Ryan Sadowski’s 55-yard run led to Ben Walsh’s 1-yard sneak to cut the Souderton deficit for to 20-10. But the Whippets followed with a huge play, as Jake Kucera returned the ensuin kickoff 99 yards for a score. Danny Dyches caught a 24-yard touchdown pass from Walsh, but another passing score from DW put the game away. Sadowski finished with 89 rushing yards and Dyches had 73 receiving yards.

No. 5 Central Bucks South 35, No. 4 Spring-Ford 19

The Titans’ running game came up big, as it has all season, to power CB South to a quarterfinal win on the road. Senior Corey Moore led the charge with 121 rushing yards and three touchdowns, Anthony Leonardi racked up 134 yards on the ground, and QB Owen Pinkerton rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.

The Titans’ defense had a great showing against Spring-Ford’s quarterback and Division I recruit Matt Zoller, with junior linebacker Jim Wade making several big plays. After Spring-Ford turned the ball over on the opening kickoff, Jack Mauz gave the Titans an early lead when he recovered the fumble and ran it into the end zone. The Titans will face rival CB West in the first semifinal appearance in the school's 20-year history. The Bucks won 40-29 when the teams met in the regular season.
