Former Vols in the NBA: March 21 recap

Three former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA Monday.

In Oklahoma City, Grant Williams started for Boston in its 132-123 victory over the Thunder at Paycom Center. He finished the contest with a double-double, totaling 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Williams, who played 38 minutes for the Celtics, also had one assist and one block.

He was 7-for-14 from the floor, 1-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc and 5-for-6 from the free throw line.

In Philadelphia, the 76ers outlasted Miami, 113-106, at Wells Fargo Center.

Tobias Harris started and played 35 minutes for Philadelphia. He had 14 points, eight rebounds, one steal and six assists.

Harris was 6-for-12 from the field, 1-for-3 in three-point attempts and 1-for-2 from the free throw line.

In Detroit, Portland defeated the Pistons, 119-115, at Little Caesars Arena.

Keon Johnson appeared off the bench for the Trail Blazers and played 14 minutes. He had one point, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Johnson was 0-for-4 from the field, 0-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc and 1-for-2 from the free throw line.
