Former Sixers star Andre Iguodala out for Warriors in Game 2 vs. Celtics

As the Golden State Warriors get set to take on the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, the Warriors found out that they would be without a former Philadelphia 76ers star.

Former Sixers All-Star Andre Iguodala, who spent his first eight seasons in Philadelphia, has been dealing with a neck injury he suffered in Round 1 against the Denver Nuggets. After missing all of the Western Conference finals, Iguodala returned in Game 1 and had seven points off the bench in the loss.

As the Warriors get set for Game 2 on Sunday night, Iguodala has been ruled out for this one as he is still dealing with the injury.

As Golden State looks to get even with the series before shifting to Boston on Wednesday, they will need to find a way to stop former Sixer, Al Horford. The former Philadelphia big man had six triples in Game 1, the most he’s ever made in an NBA game.
