Former Sixers big man Dwight Howard defends Ben Simmons on Instagram

The Philadelphia 76ers are dealing with the ongoing Ben Simmons drama as the 25-year old is dealing with a lot of stuff off the floor and he is not mentally ready to get back out there. He is currently seeking professional help as he looks to get back out there.

Recently, Eagles center Jason Kelce called out Simmons and said he needs to just work hard and play better in order to get the passionate Philadelphia fan base back on his side. This is due to the report of Simmons not wanting to face the wrath of the Philadelphia fans after everything that transpired.

Former Sixers big man Dwight Howard responded to Kelce’s comments on Instagram in support of Simmons after playing with him for one season.

Howard just wants to see Simmons do well as he was able to have some fun with him in the 2020-21 season. At this moment, it is important for Simmons to be able to get himself right and continue to work towards getting him back out there on the floor.
