Rodgers was drafted by the Packers in the third round of the 2021 draft. He was used mostly as a punt and kickoff returner. In 1 1/2 seasons, he returned 40 punts for 305 yards and 17 kicks for 321 yards. He also caught eight passes for 95 yards and no touchdowns. The Packers parted ways with him because he fumbled seven times in two years, including five times in 10 games in 2022. Rodgers landed with the Houston Texans after his time ended with the Packers.

The Texans used Rodgers as a possession receiver, much like the Packers used Randall Cobb. In six games during the 2022 season, Rodgers caught 12 of 17 passes for 154 yards, a touchdown and nine first downs.
