Former Browns OG Kevin Zeitler will sign with the Ravens

On Thursday, March 11, Kevin Zeitler found himself joining the free agency class when he was released by the New York Giants. By releasing Zeitler, the Giants freed up $12 million in cap space, while triggering a $2.5 million dead-money charge. Additionally, the Giants released their best and most experienced offensive lineman.

Fast forward to early morning Monday, March 15, and Kevin Zeitler has agreed to terms with the Baltimore Ravens. Zeitler can sign right away because he was cut by his old team.

At 31 years old, Zeitler had the lowest season-long grade of his career in Pro Football Focus grading. In joining Baltimore, Zeitler joins his third AFC North team and immediately replaces Ben Powers as the starting right guard in the Ravens’ starting lineup.
