Former Auburn tight end coming to Auburn vs Georgia
A familiar face is returning to the Plains this weekend.
Former Auburn tight end Salvatore Cannella is coming back to Auburn to watch his former team take on the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs, per his Twitter page.
Cannella caught 25 passes for 330 yards and five touchdowns over the course of his three-year career with the Tigers. Cannella launched his own streetwear clothing collection, ‘NNella,’ back in 2019. He signed former Auburn-turned UCF receiver Nate Craig-Meyers to a NIL deal to support the brand earlier this year.
No. 18 Auburn takes on No. 2 Georgia this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on CBS. It is the 125th installment of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.
