Pingry 58, Capital Harbor 0: Josh Woodford rushed for four touchdowns and added a two-point conversion run to lead Pingry. Rafferty Harris scored on a fumble recovery and caught a 43-yard TD from Mike Hollomon, who also threw a touchdown to Jack Moye. Additionally, Ryan Moye rushed for a touchdown. Adding two-point conversions were Mason Vance, Carson DeRoner and Matt Galusha, while Diego Galvan had a pair of PAT kicks.

Woodbridge 56, J.F. Kennedy 0: Derek Anderson threw six touchdown passes as Woodbridge won its third straight. Anderson threw for 282 yards with four TD passes to AJ Bosch (5-113) and two to Bryan Anderson (3-119). Jordan Byron Williams had three interceptions in the win. J.F. Kennedy fell to 0-6.

Colonia 35, Perth Amboy 23: Jaeden Jones threw for three touchdown passes and added another score on the ground to lead the Patriots (4-3) to their second-straight win. Joe Perosi snagged two touchdown catches and Noah Bone had a TD receptions and made four extra points. Perth Amboy fell to 2-5.

Elizabeth 28, Union 26: Ibn McDaniels batted away a fourth down pass into the end zone with 51 seconds left to preserve Elizabeth’s upset win. The Minutemen (1-6) snagged their first victory after dropping every game by a touchdown or less. McDaniels returned an interception 17 yards in the third quarter for the eventual winning score, He also caught a 4-yard TD pass from Arique Flemming. The freshman also connected with Imad Canty for a 21-yard score. Jalais Mendoza rushed for a 1-yard score in the win. Fleming finished 13-of-18 for 150 yards. Union (4-3) scored on a pair of 2-yard touchdown runs from Kordal Hinton, as well as a 59-yard pass from Omalley King to Kasie McDowell.

Cranford 42, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 6: Tyler Veltre went threw for 178 yards (7-of-13) with two touchdowns and added a rushing scored (2-25) to lead Cranford (4-2) to its second-straight win. Luciano Fiorenza had three receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. Fire Anderson, Amari Petgrave and Jake Katz each for a touchdown and combined for 117 rushing yards to lead the Cougars’ ground attack. Lucas Caldwell had 3 tackles and sacks in the win. As a team, Cranford had 22 first downs with 369 total offensive yards (191 rushing and 178 passing).

Roselle 19, Ridgefield Park 17: Roselle trailed 17-0 at halftime but rallied with a huge second half to complete the comeback win. Ajani Phillips rushed for 130 yards on 24 carries with two touchdowns, including the 5-yard game winner in the fourth quarter. He also had two catches for 27 yards, recovered a fumble and added seven tackles. The Rams (2-4) were also led by QB Brandon Puryear who had 70 passing yards (4-of-6) and 59 rushing yards on 11 carries and a score, while adding four tackles on defense. Timothy Porter had 12 total tackles (2 TFL/5 solo/5 assists) and Owen Delice had 11 total tackles (2 sacks/4 solo/5 assists/1 forced fumble). Justin Leconte chipped in five tackles and had an interception.

Spotswood 34, Dayton 0: Trey Lazar threw three touchdown passes and the Chargers pitched their fifth shutout to improve to 7-0. Spotswood opened a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and took a 21-0 lead into the intermission. The Chargers sealed it with 13 points in the third quarter. Lazar threw a pair of touchdown passes to Stephen Henits (25 and 9 yads) and a 5-yard TD pass to Vinny Young. Quin Esser added a 2-yard scoring run and Sincere Barnes rushed for a 13-yard score.

Belvidere 34, Manville 13: Elijah White returned the opening kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown and added an 85-yard TD run in the first quarter to lead Belvidere (2-5). White also threw 40-yard touchdown pass to Luke Tipton as the County Seaters took a 21-0 lead into halftime. Kyle Blew threw a 75-yard touchdown to Mason Chamberlin in the third quarter and Blew completed Belvidere’s scoring with a 25-yard run in the fourth quarter. Blew also had nine tackles and forced a fumble. Pedro Isaque Dos Santos kicked four extra points. Brayden Stefan had a team-high 15 tackles and rushed for 101 yards on seven carries in the win. Isaiah Bennett returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown for Manville (2-5), which also got a 19-yard TD run from Naquavere Thomas.

Hillsborough 19, Hunterdon Central 13 (2 OT): Alex Reiling thew a 25-yard touchdown pass to Roberto Santiago in the second overtime to complete the comeback win for Hillsborough (6-1). The Raiders trailed 13-0 after the first quarter, but scored 13 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Jackson Jankowicz scored on a 9-yard run and Reiling hit Santiago with a 22-yard pass to tie it 13-13. The two-point conversion run failed. Jakob Saus led Hunterdon Central (4-3) with 124 rushing yards on 28 carries and scored on a 50-yard run in the first quarter. The extra point was blocked. The Red Devils scored first on a 31-yard pass from R.J. Hart to Evan Amato for an early 7-0 lead.

Montgomery 49, North Hunterdon 6: Michael Schmelzer threw for 239 yards and accounted for four touchdowns as Montgomery (7-0) remained undefeated. The senior quarterback finished 13-of-25 and threw a 26-yard touchdown in the first quarter to Trey McFadden for a 14-0 lead. Schmelzer added rushing touchdowns of 12, 2 and 38 yards. McFadden hauled in eight passes for 141 yards and kicked seven extra points. Matt D'Avino opened the scoring with a 9-yard run with 8:22 left in the first quarter and had five catches for 86 yards. Brady Post rushed for a team-high 88 yards and had an 8-yard TD run in the second quarter. Jack Kristjanson closed Montgomery’s scoring with a 4-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. Defensively, Aydan Mutton and Brian Giambra each intercepted a pass and Zach Schick had a sack. For North Hunterdon (0-7), Tyler Anderson ran for a touchdown.

Phillipsburg 42, Bridgewater-Raritan 19: John Wargo rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, adding a 67-yard interception return for a score to give Phillipsburg a two-score first-quarter lead, and the Stateliners never looked back, improving to 5-1. Quarterback Nick Stettner made his second start, completing 12-of-15 passes for 185 yards and a score. Sam Dech and Felix Matos also ran in TDs in the win, while Patrick Day caught a 61-yard scoring strike. Jack Bray threw three touchdowns for Bridgewater-Raritan (1-6). Phillipsburg finishes in a three-way tie for the American Sivler Division title with Ridge and Hillsborough.

Ridge 35, South Brunswick 0: Ryan Turner rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns, and Wil Deady added 106 rushing yards and two more scores and Ridge ran to 5-1. Quarterback Ryan Olivo pitched in 71 rushing yards and a score for the Red Devils, while Peter Mastriano paced the Ridge defense with nine tackles, including one for a loss, and a fumble recovery. South Brunswick is 4-3.

Voorhees 41, South Plainfield 14: Quarterback Isaac Levitan threw a touchdown pass and ran in two others, and Brandon Kurzeja gobbled up 145 rushing yards on 19 carries and returned an interception 11 yards for a score and Voorhees rolled to 4-3. Matteo Tramutola also run in a TD for the Vikings, who also got a touchdown pass from Justin Wistuba and a 12-yard blocked punt return from Travis Cryan.

Bernards 47, Bound Brook 7: Connor Laverty connected with Jack Morra on a 50-yard touchdown bomb and Noah Ochab on another passing score, and the Bernards QB also ran in a TD and the Mountaineers stayed perfect. Patrick Carlisle, Logan Ritchie and Jacke Caldwell all scored rushing touchdowns for Bernards (7-0), which also got a second-half TD pass from Casey Hoeckle to Sean Arcelay. Jeremiah Norwood threw for 140 yards and scored a rushing touchdown for Bound Brook (1-5).

New Providence 35, Metuchen 7: Eric Dowden returned a kickoff 80 yards for a score and Matt Botvinis brought an interception back 40 yards for a TD and New Providence improved to 4-3. Ben Gullo rushed 21 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns, adding a 13-yard catch for the Pioneers, while Sean Donnelly was on the receiving end of a seven-yard TJ Munn scoring pass. Metuchen fell to 1-5.

Middlesex 14, Roselle Park 6: Dom Parenti threw two touchdown passes to Jax Jarvis in the second half as the Blue Jays (5-1) rallied for the win. Roselle Park led 6-0 at halftime. Parenti found Jarvis for a 20-yard touchdown in the third quarter and Brian Mattox’s extra point gave Middlesex the lead. Parenti again threw a 22-yard TD pass to Jarvis with four minutes left for an insurance score. Parenti finished 6-of-6 for 99 yards and added 61 rushing yards on 13 carries. Jarvis had three catches for 64 yards. Jack Killian rushed for a team-high 81 yards on 13 carries. Parenti had a team-high eight tackles and Cam Robinson and Joey Lawler each had seven tackles. Aidan Bush and Dan Kannaley each chipped in six tackles.

St. Thomas Aquinas 31, Rahway 7: Christian Magliacano scored twice to lead a balanced attack as the Trojans withstood a test on the road to remain undefeated. The linebacker added 20 tackles (10 solo). St. Thomas Aquinas (7-0) led 10-7 at halftime before breaking it open. Roman Blanks went 7-of-11 for 118 yards and threw a 60-yard TD pass to Magliacano in the first quarter. Rahway’s Andrew Avent tied it 7-7 with a 4-yard run also in the first quarter. Jack Joyce’s 26-yard field gave STA the lead heading into halftime He also kicked four extra points. Elijah Abass-Shereef rushed for a team-high 83 yards on 11 carries and scored on a 14-yard run in the third quarter. Magliacano added a 12-scoring yard run in the quarter for a 24-7 STA lead. Anthony Perez capped the scoring with a34-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Chase Young added 63 rushing yards on eight carries in the win and Josiah Zayas had four catches for 38 yards.

North Brunswick 35, New Brunswick 0: Samaad Hicks had another big game as the Raiders (6-0) pitched their second-straight shutout. Hicks rushed for two touchdowns and scampered for 100 yards on nine carries and also caught a TD pass (2 catches for 43 yards) from Al Trevilese (5-of-8, 86 yards). Tamir Gladden Boone rushed for 72 yards on 12 carries and a score. North Brunswick led 35-0 at halftime and had 309 total yards. Abdul Kargbo had six tackles (3 1/2 TFL, and two hurries) and Jahir Dawud had four tackles and an interception return for a touchdown.

St. Joseph-Metuchen 35, Edison 14: Jeremy DeCaro scored three times in varied ways as the Falcons seized an early lead for their third-straight win. St. Joseph (4-2) led 13-0 after the first fquarter and 28-7 at the intermission. The senior scored on a 22-yard run, a 64-yard interception return and a 6-yard pass from Daniel Degennaro, while adding a sack (4 1/2 tackles). DeCaro led the Falcons with 81 rushing yards on six carries and 72 receiving yards on five catches. Degennaro finished 9-of-12 for 142 yards. Jahcir Styles scored on a 4-yard TD run and went 10-59 and Jason Ridges Jr. scored on a 1-yard score (7-37). Elias Scott had 6 1/2 tackles in the win. For Edison (3-4), Ricky Harvey scored on a kickoff return and Anthony Calantoni threw a 19-yard TD pass to Landen Cruz.

Old Bridge 14, Monroe 7: Brody Nugent threw two touchdown passes as the Knights pulled out the win. He rushed for 129 yards on 11 carries and finished 7-of-15 for 113 with scoring throws to Michael Kvas and Jaden Griffith. Tommy Kasoff had 14 tackles and a sack for the Knights (2-5) and Jared Ruderman chipped in 11 tackles and three sacks.

Brearley 50, Highland Park 24: Gavin Marranca exploded for 231 rushing yards on 14 carries with four touchdowns as Brearley claimed the home win. Ryan Obiedzinski went 4-177 on the ground and scored twice for the Bears (3-3). Mathew Resende added 80 rushing yards and a TD on two carries in the win and had seven tackles. Kristian Janeczko led Brearley with eight tackles, while Mark Davis had two sacks.
