Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which baseball players they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Thursday through Wednesday. The winner will be announced on Thursday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Desley won his first poll of the season as he struck out nine allowing one hit over six scoreless innings for the win, for his first career win as the Dolphins beat Sturgis 6-1.

Beach went the distance for the 4-0 shutout over Bristol Plymouth, allowing three hits and striking out 11.

Johnson pitched a complete game, allowed two runs and struck out 10, and scored the lone run for the Red Hawks, in a loss to Boston College High School.

Jones was 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs scored in a 12-2 win over Doherty Memorial.
