First pitch time announced for Tennessee-Rhode Island series finale
No. 4 Tennessee (14-1) will host Rhode Island (0-12) Sunday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Sunday’s contest will be the series finale. First pitch is slated for 12:45 p.m. EDT. SEC Network+ will televise the matchup.
The Vols and Rams played a doubleheader Friday due to inclement weather Saturday.
Tennessee defeated Rhode Island, 17-4, in game No. 1.
The Vols were victorious, 8-3, in the second game.
Tennessee will next play Eastern Kentucky Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. EDT.
Southeastern Conference play will begin Friday-Sunday as the Vols host South Carolina.
