FC Cincinnati's Brandon Vazquez became the 59th player to score in his debut for the United States men's national team when he gave the team a 1-0 lead with a header during the 29th minute of Wednesday night's international friendly - a 2-1 loss to Serbia - at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

Vazquez and FC Cincinnati teammate and second-year goalkeeper Roman Celentano were called up to the USMNT last week.

Vazquez, a dual-national who is also eligible to represent Mexico, represented U.S. Soccer at multiple youth levels, but his call-up to the senior national team was his first.
