Fatal fire: 68-year-old man dies due to injuries sustained in Sullivan house fire

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal fire that killed a 68-year-old Sullivan man, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Deputies said they were called to Tyler Road in Sullivan shortly before midnight Wednesday for a fully involved structure fire.

Harold Fink, the home’s resident, died due to injuries sustained in the fire, deputies sid.

The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Madison County Office of Emergency Management, the Bridgeport Fire Department, The North Chittenango Fire Department, the Chittenango Fire Department, the South Bay Fire Department, the Cicero Fire Department, the Minoa Fire Department and AMR Ambulance.
