Farewell Party for Judge Jerald Carter

Courtesy Photos[/caption] A farewell party for Nassau County Court Judge Jerald Carter, inset photo, was held on Dec. 18. in the rotunda of the Nassau County Court in Mineola. Judge Carter, who began as a Hempstead Village Court Judge in 1989, elected to the District Court in 1998 and most recently served as a County Court judge, was joined by colleagues and friends. “Judge Carter has served the Nassau County Courts for decades with unparalleled integrity, fairness and transparency. He treated all those who came before him on bench with profound respect and dignity. He is a brilliant and hardworking judge who will be missed by all and has left an indelible mark on the Nassau County Courts,” Judge Thomas Adams, the Administrative Judge of Nassau County said.
