Exclusive: BIG3 tips off 12-week schedule in June with stops in Chicago, Dallas
The BIG3 is returning to a tour model and will tip off its fifth season on June 18 in Chicago, sources told Yahoo Sports.
The 12-week season will be held in Chicago and Dallas and will feature the league's first All-Star Game in the Bahamas. There will be two weeks of postseason action once the season concludes in August. Dates and locations for the playoffs and championship game have not yet been set.
CBS and Paramount+ will broadcast 28 hours of live game coverage. More details on TV will be announced before the season.
The BIG3 draft will be held on May 25 in Los Angeles. Power, coached by Nancy Lieberman, will have the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
The BIG3, a 3-on-3, halfcourt basketball league founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz, recently announced an ownership model that allows fans to purchase a stake in the 12 teams through NFTs.
