Ex-Colts interim coach Jeff Saturday back on ESPN's 'Get Up.' 'Pancakes are back, baby!'
Jeff Saturday is back in a familiar role.
The former Indianapolis Colts center and interim coach made a rousing return to ESPN's "Get Up" on Tuesday.
Colts owner Jim Irsay brought in Saturday from ESPN last season after firing coach Frank Reich following a 3-5-1 start. The Colts won their first game under Saturday but lost their last seven.
Saturday sought the full-time coaching job, but the Colts hired Shane Steichen, who had been the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator.

Why pancakes? A pancake refers to an offensive player who lays out a defender with a great block. And Saturday, being a lineman who snapped footballs to Peyton Manning for years, knows a pancake block when he sees one.
