Everything you need to know about the PGA Tour's Cognizant (Honda) Classic 2024

The first Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches starts on Monday with qualifying, and there's a pro-am on Wednesday, but the real golf runs Thursday through Sunday.

To get you prepared and make sure your experience at PGA National is the best, here is our annual guide to everything you need to know about the Cognizant Classic.

Cognizant Classic schedule, how to watch on live TV

Thursday-Friday: 2-6 p.m. — First and second rounds, Golf Channel

Saturday-Sunday: 1-3 p.m. — Third and final rounds, lead-in coverage Golf Channel; 3-6 p.m. — third and final rounds, NBC.

Tickets for PGA Tour's Cognizant Classic, formerly Honda Classic

Grounds tickets, Goslings Bear Trap tickets and other hospitality tickets are on sale at thecognizantclassic.com or by calling 844-846-6328.

There is a mobile ticketing management tool in Ticketmaster's Account Manager. All tickets are dynamically priced.

Weekly Grounds Ticket - $240

Daily Grounds Passes (plus taxes and fees) - Wednesday $32; Thursday $70; Friday $75; Saturday $80; Sunday $75

Goslings Bear Trap (plus taxes and fees) - One of the best viewing spots in professional golf. The venue offers sightlines to all the action on the signature par-3 17th hole and the 16th green.

CIBC Champions Club - Overlooking the 18th fairway, the CIBC Champions Club has outdoor observation decks, indoor and outdoor seating and a variety of media resources. This climate-controlled venue has open-air stadium seating with shared food and bar service throughout the day.

Legends Club - High-class hospitality location is on the 18th green and offers private white-glove service. This VIP venue has premium catering and full-bar service featuring elevated wines and signature cocktails from official spirit partners. Valet parking is included.

Waterford Club On 17 - Upscale venue situated on the 17th hole, offering a great mix of premium golf views and shared hospitality. It’s an open-air setting with stadium seating and all-inclusive food and bar service throughout the day.

General parking $10 - Off-site at Dyer Park on Haverhill Road North. Shuttles will transport all spectators to the main entrance.

BallenIsles parking $25 - Access adjacent to the entrance of BallenIsles Country Club (eastbound side of PGA Boulevard). Shuttles will transport all spectators to the main entrance.

PGA of America Lot $100 (Saturday and Sunday) - Access on Avenue of the Champions just south of PGA Boulevard. Shuttles will transport all spectators to the main entrance.

Ride-hailing options - Use Uber or Lyft and get dropped off and/or picked up at our designated Uber location left of the security checkpoint at the main entrance.

Golf etiquette for Cognizant Classic 2024

  • Stay quiet and stand still when a player is about to hit the ball and until the shot is finished.

  • “Hands in the air” means stop and be quiet while golfers are playing their shots.

  • Do not stand behind or in line with a golfer’s lie or line to pin.

  • Never cross fairways, except at designated crossover areas marked by signage.

  • If you are in the front row, kneel or sit down whenever possible to allow better viewing for those behind you.

  • For your own safety, follow the directions of the tournament marshals.

Spectators will be removed immediately without warning for:

  • Refusal to obey quiet signs or signals.

  • Distracting or embarrassing a player.

  • Making rude, vulgar or other inappropriate comments or gestures toward a player.

  • Booing or cheering at inappropriate times.

What can you take into the Cognizant Classic golf event?

  • Personal bags, 6 inches by 6 inches or smaller

  • Mobile phones (must be on silent mode)

  • Portable radios with headsets

  • Umbrellas without sleeves

  • Collapsible chairs without chair bags

  • Binoculars without case

  • Seat cushions without carrying case

  • Motorized scooters when used as a mobility aid

What are some prohibited items at Cognizant Classic?

  • No glass cups or bottles except for medical or infant needs

  • No memorabilia

  • No computers or laptops

  • No fireworks or laser pointers

  • No lounge or oversized chairs

  • No knives, firearms or weapons

  • No video cameras

  • No point-and-shoot, film or DSLR cameras (during competition rounds)

  • No selfie sticks

  • No beverages

  • No radios, TVs or portable speakers

  • No drones
