– Herbert did not make the best throws, and an example of that was the interception in the end zone intended for Jared Cook when Patrick Surtain II had him covered all the way through, and the ball was underthrown.
– Vic Fangio’s disguised looks in coverage had Herbert’s head spinning with his post-snap reads. Unfortunately, that has been an issue of his against great defensive play-callers this season.
– Herbert was under a copious amount of pressure throughout the game. Without Matt Feiler, who was out with an ankle injury, Senio Kelemete was the primary culprit.

– After consistently performing well against the run the past three weeks, the group took a step back. A backup Broncos offensive line dominated the defensive line.

– After performing well at the beginning of the season, Tevaughn Campbell’s struggles in coverage have continued.
– Some of the Chargers’ loss can be shouldered on the lack of depth at crucial positions.
