Erick All makes surprising decision re: Michigan football

Michigan football tight end Erick All played in one game in 2022, the season opener, hours after his son was born. But a back injury precluded him from participating any further, and he shut down his season to have back surgery.

All then had a decision to make: Enter the 2023 NFL draft or come back for another year. While it appeared he was leaning toward the latter, there’s a third option many didn’t consider: What if he decides to suit up in 2023 but not for Michigan?

Either way, All’s career in Ann Arbor appears to be coming to a close, as he said goodbye to Wolverines fans on Twitter on Monday.

It appears All is taking the third option and will enter the NCAA transfer portal. It’s unclear at the moment whether that is the case, but there has been conjecture he will join former Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara in Iowa.
