Eight Tribe Tennis athletes medal at Jacksonville Invitational

Apr. 22—Four Jacksonville Tribe Tennis doubles teams earned medals at the Jacksonville Invitational Friday.

Dianna Cornejo and Gracie Webb captured the Consolation championship in Girl's "A" Doubles while the team of Aubree Stickle and Sa'Maia Kincade ended the day as the Consolation bracket champions in Girl's "B" Doubles.

In Boy's "A" Doubles, Jacksonville's Westyn Harrell and Danny Ramirez came away with a third place finish.

The Tribe's Jose Meza and Diesel Thiel garnered a third place finish in Boy's "B" Doubles.

Jacksonville is scheduled to take part in the District 18-4A Tennis Championships, which will take place Tuesday and Wednesday at Bullard High School.
