Eagles QB Jalen Hurts working out with Titans WR A.J. Brown

The Titans are looking to lock A.J. Brown up to a long-term deal, and as the disgruntled wide receiver looks to get paid, he’s perfecting his craft with the Eagles’ top signal-caller.

Brown and Hurts have been friends since high school and recently hooked up for some pass-catching work via Hurts’ Instagram story.

Hurts was in town for a celebration and likely continued his recruitment of the physical former Ole Miss wide receiver.

Brown is looking for a new deal from the Titans, as the former second-round pick and talented wide receiver is currently scheduled to make $3.986 million this season in the final year of his rookie contract.

Drafted by the Titans in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ole Miss, Brown had 52 catches for 1,051 yards and 8 touchdowns as a rookie.

In 2020, Brown logged 70 catches for 1,075 yards 11 touchdowns but saw his numbers drop in 2021, after the addition of Julio Jones.

In 2021, Brown logged 63 catches for 869-yards and 5 touchdowns in 13 games.

The Titans have repeatedly said they won’t trade Brown, as he sits out voluntary workouts in hopes of a new deal.
