E/K-M and Oakes girls hoops stay ranked in NDAPSSA Class B polls
Jan. 8—JAMESTOWN — There are multiple local teams that have found their way into the latest edition of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association's Class B basketball polls.
The Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier Rebels girls' basketball team is standing pat at No. 6 with an 8-2 record. The Rebels are coming off a 61-14 win over South Border on Jan. 5. The Oakes High School Tornadoes climb two spots from No. 10 to No. 8 with an 8-1 record. The Tornadoes are coming off a 57-26 win over Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter on Jan. 6. The win pushes the Tornadoes win streak out to six games.
The Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock boys' basketball team comes in at No. 5 in the boys poll with a 7-0 record. The Lions are coming off a 53-41 win over Sargent County.
