NORMAN — It appears Brent Venables has already found his guy.

Just hours after OU parted ways with defensive coordinator Ted Roof on Thursday, numerous reports emerged that the program is expected to hire Zac Alley as his replacement.

Alley, 30, is the defensive coordinator at Jacksonville State. He also served as a student (2011-14) and graduate assistant (2015-18) at Clemson during Venables' time there.
