'Don't think it work like that': Devin Booker on former Suns teammates Mikal Bridges, Cam Payne jersey swap pic

CHICAGO – They’re supposed to exchange jerseys for the photo.

That’s the whole purpose of a jersey swap, right?

At least that’s what Devin Booker thought.

So, he took to Instagram and called out his former Phoenix Suns teammates Mikal Bridges and Cameron Payne, who took a picture holding their own jerseys, not each other’s after Monday’s Bucks-Nets game in Milwaukee.

"I don't think it work like that," Booker wrote with the Bridges-Payne picture as he tagged them both.

Sure it was all in fun as Booker has great relationships with Bridges and Payne.

Monday's game had three of Booker’s former teammates from the 2020-21 team that reached the finals in Jae Crowder, Bridges and Payne.

Bridges scored 31 points for the Nets while Crowder and Payne had 15 and 11 respectively, off the Bucks bench.

Cameron Johnson, who was also on that 2020-21 squad, sat with a calf injury for Brooklyn. Booker is the only remaining Suns player from that team.

Phoenix lost to Milwaukee in six games in the 2021 finals.

Booker has missed Phoenix’s last two games with a right calf strain.

The Suns (3-4) end a three-game road trip Wednesday at Chicago.
