Dolphins get to NFL roster limit

The Miami Dolphins' roster cuts included defensive end-linebacker Antwan Applewhite.

Applewhite has 6 1/2 career sacks in previous stints with the Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers.

The Dolphins also cut former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Marvin McNutt.

The Dolphins waived-injured quarterback Aaron Corp and offensive tackle Jeff Adams.

Miami waived offensive guard Chris Barker, center Sam Brenner, wide receivers Chad Bumphis and Keenan Davis, defensive tackle A.J. Francis, running back Jonas Gray, safeties Keelan Johnson and Jordan Kovacs, offensive tackle Andrew McDonald, tight end Kyle Miller, defensive end Tristin Okpalaugo, cornerbacks Julian Posey and De’Andre Presley, defensive tackles Kheeston Randall and Tracey Robertson, linebackers Lee Robinson and Austin Spitler and wide receiver Bryan Tyms.

The Dolphins, like their NFL brethren, are now at the NFL roster limit of 53 players.
